greate song of devulapalli garu and Rajan &nagendra garu. Actually in pallavi idi mallala velayani and vennala masam ani intentionally written by devulapalli garu its not mistake of him. After these words kokila munde kusindi is there that means by mistake kokila thought that situation.

@Ram6705 its not a mistake of him!! he wrote as "idi vennela velayani idi mallela masamani" but some assistant music ddirector while making a copy of it (as there were no xerox machines then, they used to write), mistakenly wrote it!!

This is great song of Devulapalli Krishna Sastry. I happened to meet him. He got throat cancer and his vocal cards removed. He can not speak. This is real heart touching song and great movie. My daughters can not understand and enjoy this song.

Actually this song is supposed to be "Idi vennela vela ani idi mallela masamani' but the song was sung like this and became a super hit. Devulapalli garu in one meeting said this. Just think about this how can there be a "Mallela vela and Vennela masam" LOL. Devulapalli Krishna Satri garu was a super writer. Thanks for posting this song

I listen to this song almost everyday, when I do jogging, driving.

Look at their faces. Some people act with eyes!

I am afraid these songs will last only for 50 more years. The current generation follows the useless band wagon of neo-music composed of 'Kukka la arupulu, Action with body, Artham Leni kothi genthulu'. Just imagine, after 100 years, full English in Telugu songs like some Bollywood songs.

I am not against latest music. I am always a big fan of AR Rahman and his songs.
