I was at that game, 12 rows up from the corner dasher boards at the end he scored at. It was great! The next game, he received a new Rolls Royce during the on ice congratulatory presentation. Wayne was at my kids baseball game yesterday as his son was on the opposing team. Great guy. Why can't more pro athletes be this humble and genuine?

In the 70's and 80's the game wasnt how it is today. Now it's so comeptitive, everybody is in peak physical condition and yes they can skate well

I'll admit that Gretzky is the best because of his sick amount of goals points assists and records but u have to remember that in most of Wayne's career the goalie's pads and glove were so much smaller then they r today. U also have to remember that hockey has changed so much since back then. Back in the 80s u saw so many teams score 6,7,8 goals in a game but that doesnt happen so much anymore. The overall difficulty of scoring has increased. Not trin to dis Wayne but AO can brek his goal record
