What is the best way to learn where the highlights are for such a dark character? I have been having trouble knowing where there should be light and where there shouldn't be. I am truly amazed at how you did the cape @_@ awesome! Just thinking how the arm and cape works just baffles me lol

@congaking100 These were just regular pens (not ballpoint ones), with finer nibs (0.1-0.3). Also felt brush pens. There are other brands out there from Faber-Castell Artist Pitt pens with "B" or brush nib.

@MovieMakers100 I don't draw nipples on my women/female superheroes. I just don't see the point of drawing those. They are superheroes not porn stars. :P

wat kind of mechinical pencil is that? i need a good mechanical pencil

@drawfd It's only Faber-Castel mechanical pencil with HB lead. Mine's crappy.

Get a Pentel Forte Pro II those are the best I own over 200 mech

pencils and I like this the best for drawing. Pentel Kerry and the Pentel Side FX are second and third.
