I love this look! I never thought to twist and hairspray the hair before you wrap it around the barrel. Usually, I just put heat protectant in my hair and then wrap it. So this vid was really helpful!

nope. the climate or your sweat will make your curls go limp. if you don't like the stiffness or stickiness of hairspray try using a flexible hold spray.

NO high end cosmetic brands use animal testing anymore. Why? Because there are other, BETTER alternatives. Last time I checked, I wasn't a rabbit. When you buy certain big name, lower end products (Covergirl, Suave, Herbal Essences, etc) you are paying for animal testing. It's the cheaper alternative. But there are plenty of affordable brands that do not test on animals including Tresemme, Physician's Formula, and Revlon. Just do a little google research and you'll find more. :)

you do not need a clampless curling iron to do this. just use a regular culring iron, but don't use the clamper. just wrap the hair around the outside of the clamp/iron. i reocmmend the 1/2 inch bed head curling iron. the clampless iron is a waste of money.

It's hard to explain the difference but it is different. :P

If you don't have a clampless iron, and don't want to dish out 100 bucks to buy a new one, you can just use your regular clamp iron with a different method. Just wrap your hair around the iron like aubrey does. Just leave the clamp closed. Hope this helped (:
