well u need an anti fire shield or dragon fire shield, and the best mage def u can get,i use a whip i think its the best weapon but if u wanna range, rune c bow with ruby bolts e and diamond bolts e. in ur inv u need anti fire pots, prayer pots, super attk and str if u melee and range pot if u range, food and any summoning familiar u want, but u can only summon in the place after the whirlpool.
