Red State vs Blue State is a construction of the msm as far as I can tell. It's a method of division the same way race, class, and gender is a method of division. These methods of division are dehumanising and anti individual. When you think of people from the Red States, people think of people probably that tend be lesser educated, NRA members, Protestant church going folk (hence, people that cling to guns and religion). Of course, I don't think the Tea Party protests were necessarily on the Right. Anyone who is opposed to tripling the national debt and the eventual tax hikes and inflation is welcome...and there are plenty of Obama swing voters and Blue Dog Democrats who fit the bill. All are welcome.

averitas; Yes, it's hard for working people to find time to attend protests. I've always felt the Left was better at organizing protests than the Right because most people on the Right have jobs and "lives". So many on the Left are students, unemployed, or view attending protests as a cheap date.

I read in my local paper that 4,000 attended the rally in my State's capital. That's pretty impressive. I had hoped for more, but the number doesn't matter...as long as the momentum isn't lost.
