  • @Toto77777 I just bought it. It doesn't have any noticeable lag. Works perfectly and I think it might be better than sketchbook pro

  • Where did you get the easel?

  • @ryjoseph1 I borrowed it off my sister.

  • I bet it still lags

  • Awsome

  • hey can you use this some how with photoshop? maybe do a sketch and load or email to laptop or anything like that? so you can use it on the go and transfer or send to laptop when readys?

  • I guess using my fingers wont work that well.

  • I need an iPad now...

  • Purchase Now It's $0.99 For The Halloween Weekend Sale .. Great Deal For Such An Awesome App ..

  • Needs burn and dodge tool!

  • how does he keep flipping the gal from left-facing to right-facing?! And I want that stand and stylus... where do I get it.

  • @himanshumodionline You can flip the canvas either horizontally or vertically, with one tap!

  • @SavageInteractive how can you flip the canvas with one tap? I have to use 2 taps :o

  • I want to buy this app but i want to use pen or something while im drawing. Can u pls tell us what other materials to use except our hands

  • question what type of brush did you use to do the line art part plz i would like to know

  • @MsDarkAngel500 HI. I used a soft brush at about 50-60% opacity. same with the eraser.

  • i think its the Wacom bamboo stylus for iPad

  • Grear work m8, I just downloaded it. But I need to tell me the name of the stylus you use?

  • @ProdromosKoukos Will, used the Pogo Sketch!

  • at least now I got another reason to get an iPad.

  • will this work on ipad 1..... please tell me

  • @SteveDaCameraMan It will indeed!

  • What pen does the artist use in the video?

  • 16 layers? 100 undos? Wow! That's cool! Create my own brushes is awesome too.

I use brushes and have some works on youtube. It will be great if this app could record the drawing process to make a video. I will miss this feature.

  • @Lucsdf We do have this feature in mind for a future release. Although the next thing to look out for is obscenely enormous canvas resolution. :)

  • @SavageInteractive Wow! That will be great. The competition manage to export up to 6x the actual resolution. If you break this mark and a software to export actions to video we will have an exodus from the other app. :)

And thanks for the color picker bug fix.

  • @SavageInteractive Awesome! Only on iPad 2, though?

  • I had a blast doing this vid. The guys and gal at Savage have done an amazing job making this flexible and user friendly. before I got put to work, I got to spend a little time with the competitors software and I can say procreate is by far the most useful and intuitive drawing/painting app for any mobile device.

I'm greatly looking forward to future developments with this app.

Keep up the good work guys.

  • Will is a naturally gifted artist. He draws from his head..... pure awesomeness ;-D very proud Will

  • @JacquieRobinson555 Will is a very gifted dude indeed.

  • Also, can you guys post a primer on what the different brush settings can do? Some are obvious but others not so.

  • I've been waiting for this app. Apart from Brushes, I've found all the other sketching and painting apps to have fussy interfaces, gimmicky GUIs, or are just toys for people who don't really have much interest in learning how to draw. This app is going to be really popular. I'd like to second the call for independent brush sizes/opacity, if possible. I know one way around it is to create custom brushes of different sizes. This works pretty well when you want to have a finer version of a brush w

  • @paul6000000 Thanks for the kind feedback!

We have had a few requests for independent brush sizes/opacity. Look out for this feature in a future free update :) Also, if you have anymore ideas or suggestions, please head over to our new forums. I'll put the link into the description.

We'll be taking feature requests and questions from this forum - so feel free to drop in. We'll be there :)

  • Does this have pen pressure sensitivity?

  • @AchillesEye It does indeed!

Procreate allows you to adjust size and pressure / opacity, on the fly :)

  • Glad the iPad 2 problems were fixed

  • i just bit the bulletnand bought Procreate, and I'm impressed with the GUI, very intuitive. One thing that would be great is to separate the size&opacity of brush and eraser, or at least have an option. :)

  • @bemsixtynine Funny you should mention that, it's on our list of goodies to add in the future!

  • looks great, any lite version coming? just wondering since i have a few painting apps...

  • @bemsixtynine No lite version planned. But Procreate is better than the other painting apps you have :P

  • Yes, artists name is WILL ROBINSON. (not Robertson)

  • Looks awesome! BTW, the artists name is Will ROBINSON

  • The app looks pretty good. I would be interested to give it a try. Do you have promo codes available for artists?

  • @therealrebelpapa Sure :)

    FXY4PFMLME7X

  • @therealrebelpapa Sure :)

    FXY4PFMLME7X

  • Thanks for the quick reply. Ya, future higher resolution output will be great as a web designer for those larger custom backdrops. Creating custom brushes is what's pulling me in into getting this app! Hope the higher res output comes soon.

  • @akalucas It's great to get feedback on what artists want. HD is really our current major focus. If you have any other thoughts please feel free to let us know.

Custom brushes is one of the big advantages to Procreate, so it's great to see this will be useful for you!

  • Awesome! Just when I was about to get inspire pro I see another great program. What resolutions can you export creations and what file types? great stuff!

  • @akalucas For v1 we have 704x960px documents and import/export through Photos. ... (Pssst. Keep it quiet but, for the future we have HD resolution and many other import/export options in store. All free updates of course.)
