Do NOT use a Oujia borard - you can summon all kinds of spirits and some of them may not leave. Regarding the 'spirits' you're experiencing in your home: be firm - tell them to leave and that they do not belong in your house. Finally, have your house blessed by clergy, and your family, too. and you said you and your husband heard his name being spoken (as in asking) while looking at the hindges of the door? and does "looking at the hindges" mean that he was fixing them and making a bit of noise?
well i dont think there's really much to do, but if you do get really scared i suggest lowering the noise in your household during the day. but as for the noises at night im not sure. maybe try a ouija board sometime?

you should do some evp to see if the spirit wanted to leave you messages and maybe it will leave on its own if you are getting attacked it could be bad thats when you should go to your church get a infrared camera and video tape yourself sleep and use the evp more evidence the better that way you have proof then you can call some experts to help well thats if it gets worst good luck
