What you guys have to realize is: It isn't that alpha is better. It was that you were a noob! You had all these crazy ideas and were exploring the game. Then as the game got bigger, you learned more about it until you just mastered the game. Same technique. Every time. You never have the same experience as a noob. And when you go back to alpha and you think "Oh im gonna have much more fun now! And you do, its just manipulating your mind to think that. Its really the same.

@11Brawlman No, Alpha is better. Just because you have most likely never seen alpha terrain besides videos so you think it looks bad. But ever since 1.8 the alpha terrain was completely gone, Basically all old players miss the good old alpha and even in 1.3 when I joined it was so much different and every time I go on now I remember how good it was back then. Alpha will be missed.

i think there should be a button on the homepage of minecrft and you can pick what ever version you want so if you wanted 1.8 then you push the 1.8 button or if you want 1.1 then push the 1.1 button that would be a really good idea for people who love the old version

I miss everything before 1.8, but I still like the Endermen. Now this stupid breeding part isnt fun at all, and the hunger bar just takes from the fun, it should only be on Hard/Hardcore.
