one of the reasons weed is illegal is because it would cure a vareity of things that prescription drugs are prescribed for. for example say u had 2 conditions , so u would have 2 perscriptions rather then one if you have marijuana. so thats a big big loss in money for the pharmaceutical companies. they could tax it aswell but they would lose money because people would still grow it and sell it for a lower price if taxed. its all about economics and money. its a fucked up world. so many loopholes
