@doogaloog Nice with D300s, I've been thinking about changing my D300 for a D300s juts to get the movie function. I'm gonna test that in my next time-lapse when i got the time and when the weather is with me.
Thank you. It's pretty siple to do this and the resutl can be really cool. No, not really. For this video it took about 600 pictures and the camera at the moment has done about 16000 actuations and a camare like the D300/D200 is capable of doing many hundreds of thousands shutter actuations before the shutter needs to be repalced. So i don't worry about it.
That's what I thought. I still haven't used the 10-20 on my D300 yet. I wasn't quite sure how wide it would look considering the D300 doesn't have a full frame sensor. Again, good job on the time lapse.

Great video, I cant wait for my d300s to arrive! I was also thinking that 1 shot every 5 or 10 seconds would be smoother. (many more photos though).

i like it a lot, i'd do this myself sometime, however i'd be worried about how many shutter actuations would be used.
did that not worry you at all?

Very nice first Time Lapse!
A good speed for fast clouds is around 1 shot every 5 seconds :)
Of course, it all depends on the look you want. But things will get fluid at 1 shot every 5
