Nathan doesn't support a merger, but he does believe in co-operation before and after elections. His plan involves optional joint party nominations in conservative ridings. So the vote might not be split between progressives. (Remember how Stephan Dion didn't run a Liberal in Elizabeth May's constituency, and she didn't run a Green candidate in his?)
I absolutely see PM in him. He's well spoken, intelligent, level headed and passionate. Plus, he's good at beating Conservatives!
@hecdc I see Pm in him....he also supports a merger of the liberals and green party which i'm a big fan of as it will stop the division of left wing voters.
@Spudst3r Hes pushing for a merger (agreement) with the Liberals. He'll compromise and do whatever he has to to get votes. As for marijuana, he has the weakest stance on marijuana legalization out of all the candidates.
He reminds me the most of Jack Layton, He does need to improve his French though

Really good question for Canadians regarding Mr. Cullen:
Do you see the Prime Minister in him?
the leader of the NDP must win the 2015 general election, think on that.

@hecdc He panders to voters. He flip flops. He has a weak stance on marijuana legalization. He is not the ideal candidate for the NDP.
