@DesuKitteh the dude who plays ichiro is vic because they are twins so they have to sound alike.also vic uses different voice for ichiro cuz they can't have the same voice for zero and ichiro so thats why vic sound different for zero's twin

I admit Vic would be better as Aidou or the Chairman, but I don't think it's impossible for him to do someone like Zero. Just look at him as Dark in D.N.Angel.
i watched episode 13 in english dub. and i cried. seriously i was so dissapointed. ichirus voice is way to soft. so is zeros. kanames voice was...okay.. but ichiru should have had zero's voice. zero should have has kanames voice and then somebody else should have played kanames voice. and yukis voice was to gently and sweet :P
On Amazon they actually have some scenes with the official dub and Zero was actually the best out all of them (In my opinion at least.) Second best was Yuuki worst was Kaname. (They only had the video of the three of them. :/) Zero isn't the perfect choice, but Yuuki and Kaname's voices really piss me off. xD Ugh, if only there was some way for the original characters to do the english dub. :S

You are ver correct in there voices sound like Robots and that to me is very wrong and it shows that they did not take the time on really!!!! thinking on how they want to portray the characters in Vampire Knights, VK is a very intresting vampire show, I mean yes there are a lote of cute and amazing guys on this show, but unlike other vampire shows and movies, this one tells the story on how evil and the diffence about 2 types of Vampires insead of just one, a lote better than Twilight 100%.
this isn't going to be funamation..this is VizMedia..who did Naruto i think. I heard that Bryce papenbrook (sp?) was cast as Aidou. Personally I don't think Vic would make a good Zero or Ichiru (he's playing both, I've asked). We'll see what happens though

@mellysmellow Your welcome. Yeah, It's free. Only episode 1 is though. The dubbing was OK. Zero sounded like Edward (to me he does), Yuki was BLAH, akatsuki was OK, and everyone else was OK. x_x (Sorry, not really a VK fan yet).
@mellysmellow Go to iTunes Store, type in Vampire Knight, Go to TV Episodes, scroll down to #13 on the list (which is actually episode 1, then download it. I don't know if there are different kinds of iTunes for different countries.... All I know is that Vampire Knight is currently on the American iTunes store. =/

UGH I SO AGREE!!! thats exactly what I was thinking!! Johnny did a great job as Ichigo in Bleach and Lelouch in Code Geass! I love his work!! Vic is not suited for a serious/dark character he needs to have lots of expression like Chairman Cross!!
@sasukerulz76 While I won't argue Johnny's ability to play Zero, in my opinion his voice is too recognizable and feels a bit overused. Though I will disagree in Vic's ability to play serious characters, however. One of his first roles as a professional actor was as John Proctor in The Crucible and it doesn't really get much more serious than that..
@TechnologyFML What I feel is that both of them are too reconizable when you hear Zero/Aido/Ichijo/Chairman...etc's voice then you will be "Oh thats Tamaki/Edward" and when you hear Johnny; "Oh thats Lelouch/Ichigo" I think they should have voiced the characters with an actor thats a nobody such as Mena Lee or Ethan Murray

i wish they would make teenager voices instead i know theres alot of teens in this country that could sound the zero and Yuuki,kaname,ect. Funimation is just not looking hard enough for voices that could wow us in this glorious Anime ={

@carlove100 I totally agree with you, Funimation does'nt look hard enough for their voice actors. I mean there could be someone that would be the PERFECT voice for Yuki, but instead they use Mena Lee. I guess it would speedup production time?

@2InsaneChickens actually i watched the first dub. vic does a pretty good job as zero. But i dont like some of the other voice actors. LIke the person who plays yuki. she sounds like she has a acent whenever she says kaname's name. But its still decent in english and worth watching anyway.

I went to Anime North yesterday,
& Vic Mignogna told us that he would play Zero
& in Axis Powers Hetalia (just not which role)
The release date is probably months from now.
But if you fans go to Anime Cons where vic is holding a panel,
remember to blurt the question
"how long will it be, before Vampire Knight dub is released to the public, your approx guess?"
Cuz he probably won't tell the exact date.

@SakiWatari I think he might be hiding a few voices, a new english dubbed Anime (by FUNanimation) called Hetalia is comming out, theres a rumor spreading around that he might:
A) Retire from voice acting
B) dub a voice
im not sure if hes gonna be in it or not, but I check everyday about new animes..LOL I know I didnt know he played Ikkaku until I saw the credits too XDD

UGH I SO AGREE!!! thats exactly what I was thinking!! Johnny did a great job as Ichigo in Bleach and Lelouch in Code Geass! I love his work!! Vic is not suited for a serious/dark character he needs to have lots of expression like Chairman Cross!!

@sasukerulz76 While I won't argue Johnny's ability to play Zero, in my opinion his voice is too recognizable and feels a bit overused. Though I will disagree in Vic's ability to play serious characters, however. One of his first roles as a professional actor was as John Proctor in The Crucible and it doesn't really get much more serious than that..

@TechnologyFML What I feel is that both of them are too reconizable when you hear Zero/Aido/Ichijo/Chairman...etc's voice then you will be "Oh thats Tamaki/Edward" and when you hear Johnny; "Oh thats Lelouch/Ichigo" I think they should have voiced the characters with an actor thats a nobody such as Mena Lee or Ethan Murray
