Congresswoman Maxine Waters also lobbied for Aristide. If Thompson lobbied I hope, like Maxine Waters, he did it for free. There's no evidence that Aristide incited violence but you can pin anything the guy if 91.7% of the population voted for him so any atrocity done during that time is labeled by media as pro-Lavalas (ergo its Aristides fault).
