  • Wow she looks really hot here. Almost like a porn star.

  • I love you sweetheart!

  • I am so glad that someone as famous as Linda Hamilton is helping to rid the stigma on mental illness. I was diagnosed with schizoeffective bipolar type, depression, paranoid schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, and ocd. I have a similar video on my page.

  • Bi Polar? Interesting. She once said she has an identical twin sister; Now is it a REAL twin sister, or a alter ego?

  • @BalloonsExclmatnMark BIPOLAR..... IT IS GENETICLY..... RELATED....B__NOT DRUG RELATED____CHECK YOUR MEDICAL QUALIFICATIONS AGAIN.....ignorance and stigma kills __please educate.

  • I can use telepathy all the time and it works 100% correct up to few kilometer. My telepathy manifest itself exact like "Schneider's first-rank symptoms".

  • iam Bi Polor and am ashamed of my mental illness afraid of being me Thank you Linda for sharing your story.

  • @BalloonsExclmatnMark

That is not true. Many people who have bipolar have NEVER taken drugs. Others try taking drugs to deal with the overwhelming moods.

  • I was just watching a clip about shizophreniacs and hearing that other woman voice right near the end kinda shocked me xD

  • She is cool.

  • One medication that will NOT help you with bipolar disorder is ABIILIFY.

Please visit ABILIFY KILLS on YouTube and you'll never even think of taking this drug!

(And I'm the former spokesman for the drug)

  • when the sense of self is weakened/compromised,solitary is a good cure.Anyway i'm just rambling...........................opinions??

  • I do have to admit though,it can be a challenge to avoid internalising without being accused of being a sociopath (another stupid label).Take for example a man(heterosexual identified)lashing out at his wife as a desperate defense mechanism to avoid internalising her femininity/voice in your head.So you'd need to learn to listen without letting her into your head and compromising your own male voice/conscience or stay with the fellows and get a mangina and be gay :)

  • @icthruu4evr

I agree. It seems many believe that oneself should be completely happy, even euphoric ALL THE TIME like a junkie). and if not, somethings wrong or someones to blame and then go get medicated. We DO have the power to control what we internalise, but when we fail,we tend to blame someone or something. The 'EGO' side is a good point too, just take so called schziophrenia for example and the idea of being very important (messiah complex) and feeling persecuted, some scrambled arrogance 4 su

  • @icthruu4evr i heard you suck shit

  • and !@#$ fort lauderdale hospital.

  • The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a nonprofit mental health watchdog, responsible for helping to enact more than 150 laws protecting individuals from abusive or coercive practices.

  • @icthruu4evr OH and by the way I am not a little princess with some dissapointments , I am a long haul trucker with bi-polar disorder.

  • @icthruu4evr Why don't you just tell a parapalegic man to get off his lazy ass and walk.

  • @icthruu4evr I pity you,r ignorance and foolishness, you truly have no idea what you are talking about

  • @icthruu4evr And research your facts!. Mental illnesses are highly inheritable, especially bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and researchers are beginning to understand the (combination of) genes that could possible contribute to those illnesses.

  • @Nat5184 man im gunna fXcking bi-pole your fXcking rectum

  • @icthruu4evr It has nothing whatsoever to do with people who have are egotists, have mild moodswings/moodiness, emotional issues and are a general pain in the ass to be with.

I agree that trends in our society and culture produce more and more people who are egotistical and fucked up, but that’s a different discussion altogether.

  • @icthruu4evr WOW you truely have some anger-issues, and a rather disturbing mindset. Too bad that your taking it out on Bipolar-disorder. I find your comments very stupid, and your argumentation so dense, that I don't see any point arguing with you. You're already so very convinced you're right. Bipolar disorder is SEVERE, unwanted and often debilitation swings in mood+energy. And it can hit regardless of background and personal history.

  • @icthruu4evr I find your comment highly offensive, derogatory and extremely ignorant! The causes of manic depression have nothing to do with how people are raised or what their background it. It is not something you chose to have, for the fun of it. It is a deeply debilitating disease. It extremely stupid and rediculous of you to believe depression comes from other people "not kissing their ass and throwing money at them"

I hardly believe you've ever met somebody suffering from the disease

  • Thank you for sharing, Linda. That's couldn't have been easy.

  • thanks Linda, I didnt know you suffered from this too. xxx

  • She's a super MILF!

  • It is amazing how talented some people with Bi-Polar or Manic Depression as it was more commonly known as are...I know a few people who have it, but they can go for long periods of time without an episode of it...What people do not realise is how common it is and how hard it is to diagnose sometimes, as it can be confused with Personality Disorders and Schizophrenia, especially if some has auditory and/or visual hallucinations. The US are far more advanced with treatment than the UK i think.

  • "You're terminated, fucker!"

  • Katie Couric also has bipolar and it is incredible how functional she is. Perhaps she has a much milder form called bipolar affective disorder.

New interesting treatmenst are now available that are promissing. Ask your physician aboutt EMDR if you just can't shake certain thoughts that keep coming up when they are not welcome.

Between yoga, music therapy, aroma therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and not EMDR, we are getting closer to conquoring this. & take your meds

  • Thats awesome Linda appeared to talk about bipolar disorder. I know I am not alone

  • Thank you for having the courage to speak up about this brain disorder.

  • For me i think i have something similar or might be this i have agoraphobia, self destruction, problems sleeping a lot in the daytime, mood swings when my thoughts arise and are really low, & constant talk of suicide and i'm only 20 also have a lot of problems with socialization aswell it's a nightmare tbh i don't like myself and don't mix cos i don't wanna make another persons life as miserable as mine.

  • Im sure this has been said before, but discovering that Linda has Bi-Polar gives me a whole new angle on her performance in T2.

I wonder if she used her BP to get into certain states of mind during the filming of T2

  • @normansmother1 Linda H. actually did alot. She was in alot of TV movies, she was in CHildren Of The Corn, and she guest starred on things. Besides, her role in Terminator was so absolutely amazing in both movies, and I think she made a wonderful, and very believable transition between a normal Sarah Connor, and one that was kinda psycho.

You shouldn't judge her because she ' robbed Cameron blind.' People aren't paying her to be nice to him...They're paying her to act.

  • @RieAyanami Yeah, James Cameron made it all back with avatar. Now he's as rich as Oprah. normansmother1 doesn't know anything. Who cares if she got money after the divorce. She disserved it.

  • @gritnom Thank you so much for agreeing with me.

And, I was actually thinking the same thing..Cameron made that money back, so...Who cares what Linda did during the divorce when it came to money?

She really did deserve it. I honestly felt bad for her when I heard how they got a divorce. It's like...How do you leave one of the most beautiful women in hollywood?

Don't get me wrong, I still like Cameron's films, but I felt bad, cuz she's my favorite actress.

  • Fear and ignorance is the enemy.

  • OMG I think I have a slight bipolar symtoms.. :(

  • Dude I have Bipolar I feel out of control and well I am keep mine in check !!! xxx <3

  • thank you for this.

  • This is very brave of her to speak out publicly about her illness. I would be curious to know what medications she's on... My experience, so far, has been Lithium and Seroquil XR, but I feel so-so. I just hope I can feel balanced, without turning into a medicated "basket case that so often happens to people with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. To me, that is no life at all - I don't want to end-up on the street, on disability, etc. There's life and quality of life.

  • I think this is her twinsister, who doubled her in few scenens in T2, but she looks good:-)

  • Linda Hamilton i Love you!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sarah Connar :)

  • @icthruu4evr very funny you dirty hooker

  • just from watching the video I could tell she was speaking from experience. She shifts her persona many different times while she's speaking. Some of what she's saying, she believes, most not. She's making the video to "spin" or cover up any weird behavior she's had. I haven't heard much about her since that Term. movie so maybe she's trying to appeal to the people & make a comeback, maybe not. All I know is she doesn't believe what she's saying in this video by her body language.

  • i wish people could understand this disease, understand what its like to be dragged to a hospital and kept there for two weeks because you drive your car in a lake when you feel hopeless, broken and devastated for no reason, understand what its like to lose every friend you have because you said or did something when you are manic or hypomanic, or when you lock yourself in your house for days and dont return phone calls. understand that if we could, we would be okay. I'm afraid ill never be.

  • damn, girl looks like kirstie alley

  • She is bang on, I have had bipolar, with manic and bad bad lows since 2001

  • well sarah connor was an angry woman after all...

  • Sarah Connor in Terminator?

  • Medication helps my bi-polar. I recommend mood stabilizers for bi-polar.

  • Good insight man...good insight...

  • I appreciate her coming out about it.

  • @handsalone all this bitches with bipolar disorder only remember that they are bipolar and need help when they feel depressed, when they are on a high they feel on top of the world and think that they are the best thing God put on the face of this earth. how do I know? because I have been boyfriend to several of them, they for the most part are very beautiful because of the unusual combination of male and female hormones God put on their bodies

  • @affiliate30

Ignorant thoughts right there, first off bipolar, the real bipolar has nothing to do with hormones fool, and being in your high is the best fucking feeling in the world. Trust me, im bipolar. as for only seeking help when depressed, it's just like so called "normal" people, when they are happy as fuck, they aren't saying "i need help" but when they are down on their luck, ofcours theyre going to fucking seek help.

  • @Squeegee33you may call me ignorant but you r very lucky u have not got a real desease i gaurantee you if u got what i have you would always be pissed off ,but im not ,get out there and witness people who are really fucking ill your condition may improve

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF

I've had 3 episodes and have been to the mental hospital for 3 stays already in my life and i'm not even 19 (was diagnosed at 16)

i've seen the worst of the worst and i can honestly say i have a MILD case of bipolar, sometimes i go weeks without taking meds and it makes no real difference, daily marijuana use triggers episodes for me so i try to stay away from everyday pot use. When I say MILD, I mean overall, as i get the HIGHEST HIGHS. I go into Acute Psychosis. Bp #1

  • @Squeegee33 right ,no disrespect to start with if u had choice what would you rather have terminal cancer as ive got or your illness ,ive a one way ticket im not depressed im angry yes i see terrible things in cancer centre where i go if u went to help others who r worse than yourself you would feel much better i try and i feel great for helping others a bit in hospital when i can ,its the best nmedicine u could have ifeel very bad mentally quite often but i can step back and pull myself out bye

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF

Oh k, now I know what you mean by "you're very lucky you have no real disease"

I thought you had a worse case of bipolar and you were telling me this but now it all makes sense. as for your question, i would rather have bipolar than cancer, I mostly see bipolar as a gift. It really isn't much a disease, just very understood in western culture...and yes, i try to make others like me or worse feel better, because i can relate. and as for cancer, there is always hope....

  • @Squeegee33 this is a death sentence ,im trying to get people to realize theres always, always people worse and you have to be thankful for every day i cant fully understand your illness but i suffer mental anguish 24/7 with side effects ,loud drilling noise in head ,suicidal thoughts etc but pull myself back and think of others and try to help it makes all pain go away to help others if i survive ,it will be the best thing thats ever happened to me as i now have empathy for others bye

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF You obviously don't know bipolar disorder is a death sentence for many people. Not only because of the high rate of suicide, but also because they are are at higher risk of several physical illnesses. Don't judge other peoples illnesses and don't think someone with bipolar disorder can just make themself feel better. They can't, that's part of the illness.

  • @martinecaroline im sorry but i cant understand this illness ,surely medication can control it ,im afraid id be the most intolerant person regarding this desease from what ive seen during my tretment ,but i surely would have seen similar if i have bipolar disorder ,surely theres a therapy to help to go along with medication ,would helping others worse than themselves help ,it helped me

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF I know it's hard to understand and I'm really sorry about your illness and what you have to go through, but just don't judge. It's really hard if you have to struggle with this all your life, take medications and go through therapy, see everything in your life fall apart and then people tell you it's not a real illness.

  • @martinecaroline its obviously a real illness ,its surely hell ,also for loved ones who may struggle to understand ,is it all so bleak ,i spoke to someone last month ,they said they look at it as something of a gift ,strange i suppose ,i also think what i have ,if i can overcome it also,it will make me a better person ,everyone in life has crosses to bear [im not religious],theres always someone worse ,hence thankful .bye

  • @martinecaroline Yes indeed! I was saved by Christ two years ago, that and my husband get me through, but I can't get rid of it ever. I'm still mentally here to tell myself I'm not really depressed, my brain is just telling my body is (cause there will be no reason why I am you know?) or when I'm manic I got to mentally tell myself chill out. Does it work? It keeps it "down", but the compulsion is still there, as well as the delusions. But taking time for myself and praying helps a lot.

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF I would rather not have either. I have bipolar disorder, but when you have cancer, it mentally messes you up from not only the pain, but you get "toxic" blood. When you have built up toxins in your body, it causes "mental" illness as well.

Just wanted to tell you, cause I read your post about which you would rather have. I'm also not speaking out of my butt about the info on cancer and toxins, I'm an RN.

    Take care!

  • regardless of how much a nutjob she was..she was smart enough to land James Camaron..I don't feel sorry for her, but I can't imagine living with someone who was always crying and ranting about robots and armagedon

  • TE AMO SARAH CONNOR

  • Thanks for posting this video.

  • many works of art were created by manic depressives... I have manic episodes and they can work for you... drugs they give for that are dangerous IMHO and sleep and skills do the best for me. Like a dark apartment in the summer at night to be able to get sleep works. Mania is not always negative though...

  • and while mania is often embarrassing and self defeating, the positive aspect of mania needs to be seen... not just the negative side... my positive manias are good to me regardless of the stigma and although I know medication is all that will help in some cases, I do not believe in taking medication unless I need it and I am saner from it...

  • *sigh* You're an idiot

  • affiliate30, Mental illness can happen to anyone, regardless of the person's proffession or social background. Linda Hamilton is no different.

  • @affiliate30 - you seem pretty unstable yourself. Maybe you'd benefit from medical care, you idiotic, bitter shit stain.

  • @MrRedFredSaid I am bitter, and idiotic?

I am not the one acting in movies about genetics fascism, nor am I the one making them.

  • @affiliate30 Dude, you obviously have no clue what it's like to have bipolar disorder. Why don't you try having a little more sympathy about a condition that has a 20% suicide rate.

  • fucking scientologists, scum of the earth!

  • At least Scientologist don't blow things up when they get upset.

  • Wow! So...are you bipolar or waht?

  • yes

  • dude thats linda hamilton. ever watched Terminator? shut the fuck up!!

  • Draziom203 I hope you die a slow and painful death

  • My medication is not there for enjoyment, it is just part of the treatment. Psychiatry will only help if you are prepared to help yourself, like I have done, even when things were looking bad for me I never stopped trying and it was worth it in the end, I consider myself lucky. What I do enjoy Draziom is the fact that I can live in the community amongst family and friends, doing what I like doing and fulfilling my ambitions

  • Comment removed

  • @marksbrisby take ur meds as prescribed.

  • Yes I do, for over a year I have been able to live an almost normal, independant life outside a hospital setting. I am currently a student and I have a part-time job so I am in good health, thanks for asking!

  • @marksbrisby Enjoy your psych meds while they last. They'll take its toll on you and you'll be on kidney dialysis in the future.

  • @Draziom203

fuck off u know absolutely nothing... ha ha u are a fuckin joke!

  • This is very helpful, sometimes we forget the complex ives our favorite actors lead

  • she was hot in the 80s

  • Stll hot,a strong woman

  • kirstie alley look a like

  • She is manic during this. I have bi-polar so I know how difficult it can be to function, but I admire her for trying to help others. Best to you Linda!

  • People with bipolar depression in mania can be extremely angry and irritable. They talk incessantly and become very angry if you try to interject. They think they are invincible and will engage in risky activities like hangliding etc. they are hypersexual and will often have affairs on their spouses. They are loud and verbally combative. When depressed they will sleep for hours and hours and will be lethargic. When manic they hardly sleep at all.

  • She is like the character Sarah Connor.

  • Alternative ways to help should also be considered if possible.

  • People should get HELP if they need it. that's what i promote

  • Draziom, I'll let whoever wants to read this decide who's promoting them or not. I don't need you to tell me what I promote when you can read from my posts

  • @Draziom203 you got 2 thumbs down...who are you talking to?

  • I love it how people post texts passing judgement on people they have never met. I also love how people think just because it's THEIR opinion, that somehow makes it true. I told a friend of mine 10 years ago to get over herself when she was complaining about being depressed. 3 months later, she was literally holding my hand as I was being admitted to the hospital for depression. It still took another 5 years for me to accept that I was bi-polar and needed medication. Try judging yourself.

  • Believe all the psych-fraud you want. You're a sucker to believe psychiatric diagnosis and its Toxins. Wait till you get older and the drugs takes its toll and u really develop diseases downstream. You're in for a surprise.

  • Whatever asshole. Go back to your spaceship.

  • Take ur meds and be quiet guinea pig.

  • Wow! That was really impressive. How long did it take you to come up with that one? Let me ask you a question genius. What exactly is your purpose for writing all of this garbage? Is it to actually educate people about the dangers of these meds so they'll get off of them? If that's the case, do you really think insulting and belittling them is going to get the job done. Do you really think that works? So either you're incredibly stupid or incredibly mean. Which one is it ? Do you even know?

  • a lot of people have bad experiences. if people are in need of help i think they'll get it...

  • You can believe your imaginary disease all you want. You speak nonsense. Diahrea. be a man and quit being a weakling. Bipolar.. yeah right!!.

  • I can't believe that people can be so mean!!! I myself as a bipolar sufferer can't find the strength to tell my own friends, and she does it on public... and you accuse her of what? Using her disease? Believe me, neither of us bipolar (and it does exist) feel "liberated" IN ANY SENSE!!!

  • you're both right!!

  • Tom Cruise, is that you???

  • Anonymous cult is that you?.

  • Wah????

  • huaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • Why so much anger? I don't need to prove to you that my disorder is not a label and neither does anyone else. I'm sure though that you have a bigger problem when you react to psychiatric disorders and sufferers like that. You need to see someone more than we do .. about your anger...

Good luck with that! (I mean it)

  • You certainly do need to prove your imaginary disease/disorder is not a label. Not doing so is irresponsible. You're brainwashed. I can run circles around your ignorance. Smell the reality, REALITY CHECK!.

  • You'r severely brainwashed and severely stupid. Grow up you idiot and take control of your life with your imaginary illness.

  • yeah this comment's a winner.

there are a lot of illnesses out there and you don't have any....clearly....

  • You take psych meds?. Keep taking them as prescribed you brainwashed sheep.

  • no, no i don't. you sound like you might need some. it's called being responsible to yourself and others. it'd be nice if more people were.

  • If you dont take psych meds how do you know how they feel when they get off them and have withdrawals and nerve damage?. Does that sound healthy and beneficial to the psych victim?. You need to be responsible by not promoting psychiatry to others.

  • you need to find a good doctor. that is being responsible you ninnymuffin

  • Psychiatrists aren't doctors and no doctor is responsible. 99.9% of them are QUACKS.

  • well that's your perogative and i don't want to hear about you complaining because you should be responsible for yourself and not hender other people from getting help.

  • doctors are responsible for people's healths. People can take all the psych neurotoxins they want. I wont take that away from them, but don't dare to promote these drugs as being healthy and having curative powers. Most people who take these drugs derive no benefit. Your being irresponsible by telling people to take psychiatric drugs if they have emotional problems that can be easily fixed with alternatives. If you like psych drugs, TAKE THEM. Dont promote them to others.

  • Dude, why couldn't you say this before? This is a reasonable argument. One that I agree with. I take meds but I don't promote them and I have no love for the pharmaceutical industry. I know for a fact that the more drugs doctors prescribe they get more bonuses. My only issue was with how you said it. There is no need to be disrespectful about it. If you wrote like this all the time, I bet you would actually influence people. Exercise and healthy diet and proper sleeping habits should come 1st.

  • psychiatric drugs destroy the mind , body and spirit. you disagree?.

  • Yeah I agree with Todd Michael.

Who are you, Draziom, talking to here about "daring to promote drugs" in the unhealthy way you explained promoting them? No one here has.

  • You promote psych-drugs. read your posts and mine. you promote them.

  • @Draziom203

Good on anyone who promotes psych drugs. They've helped me to be able to keep my job as well as my relationships. I no longer hear voices or have hallucinations, either. I've been suffering from severe bipolar disorder since I was 13 years old.

  • Totally agree! It's a 21st century "excuse" along with the attention deficit palaver, and dyslexia. Don't care what ANY medic says. Besides, Linda H. has had luck, good health, fame, fortune and a string of lovers. If she still finds life "depressing", then maybe she should wean herself whatever drugs she's on. What a loser!

  • Comment removed

  • @Draziom203 ya your right, mental disorders do not exist, and should not be treated. the people who think they have them should just suck it up. Your an ignorant Tard. The next time you need pain meds for an injury, or insulin because your a diabetic, I hope someone withholds it from you and tells you to suck it up.

  • mental illness is not an illness or disease. its an invented label. you want people to take dangerous mind altering drugs for emotional problems. thats irresponsible and ignorant. pain meds and insulin are for REAL physical causes not INVENTED fraudulent mental illness. psychiatric drugs kill. go take your paxil if you love it so much.

  • @Draziom203

Well do you have an alternative to managing my psychosis and bipolar disorder? I'd love to hear this. Where did you obtain your P.H.D. from, by the way?

  • @blahblahblahman There's no such thing as "bipolar disorder". A phd is worth nothing than a toilet full of shit.

  • @Draziom203

A PHD is work nothing? Oh wow, that's a new one. I guess you 're going to have to tell that to all of those intelligent hard working people with PHDs.

  • @blahblahblahman you claim psycholgists are science. You claim a psychologist with a phd is scientific. You have no facts to back your absurd claims.

  • @Draziom203

fuck off u faggot you know fuckin nothing!

  • @Draziom203

    ur profile is laughable!

(Member of OSA. (Operation Of Special Affairs) Scientology. I investigate and help prosecute "Anonymous Cult Criminals" Hate crimes against the Church of Scientology and send them to prison....... U FUCKIN TOM CRUISE SHAGGING MOTHER FUCKING SCIENTOLOGY BULL SHIT EATER....... UR VIEW BELIEFS ARE A LOAD OF SHIT COMPARED TO HARD SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE... U BELIEVE IN A LOAD OF FUCKING SHIT.... MOOD DISORDERS ARE VERY REAL.. SHAG UR MOTHER WITH A TEN INCH BLADE..

  • In that case, I hope you suffer from something akin to BPD. Oh...that's right...you can't. You have no brain to begin with, lol.

  • psych drugs mask your symptoms and will NEVER solve the root of your problems. your stuck on them for life. how does that make you feel?. you like psychiatrists?. remember, psychiatrists love you. (sarcasm).

  • chill down asshole . u havent seen shit in life ..... psychatry is fake but ohh the reincarnations and the thetans and the auditing makes sense to you . pussy Scientologist

  • you are SEVERELY BRAINWASHED. BIPOLAR MY ASS!.

  • So Linda is not responsible for being verbally and physically abusive to her first husband and destroying that marriage. It was all because an invisible disease made her act that way. Wow, must be very liberating for her. And please elaborate on the drugs you are taking. Are they making you healthier, stronger, smarter?

  • Hey Linda

How many times did you get an "improper" diagnosis? And who decided which diagnosis is "proper" and which one is "improper"?

Also, have you had your thyroid or vitamin D level tested?

  • I LOVE YOU LINDA AKA SARAH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks Linda! You're a great example of a survivor of a disease like this which kills 1 in 5 of the people it afflicts!

  • Very nice of Linda to speak openly about being bipolar. I respect her for it.

  • She is an amazing women with all the intangibles

  • wow she was born in 1956 and this was in 2006!! she looks just as good as she did in the 80's if not better!!!
