The soundtrack is damn fine though. The story is weak as hell, the gameplay is for those with balls (or rather breasts) of steel, the main character is wank material that obviously puts this game above everything else for you.

@Momentum139 Actually I genuinely prefer the game to god of war. God of war 3 was a good weekend of gaming, but bayonetta lasted me about 200 hours, completing every difficulty, mastering the moon of mahakala, finishing every level to maximum grade and learning new juggles and comboes using different combination of weapons. I stand by my comment, Bayonetta is a better game than god of war 3.

Yeah, I'll give you that. I can respect that. I'm not going to play the God Of War fanboy, I got tired of Bayonetta because of the "Eyes Of The World" referencing, but if they fix the PS3 lag issues I might seriously start it up again and do better than I did originally.

I know, but I see this a lot and it's wonderful that you enjoy it, but these games have all that stuff, nearly regardless. Bayonetta was also made by creators of DMC so it's bound to have some similarities. Didnt mean to sound snobby. ;)

I prefer the fights in this to that of DMC. There are so many different combos to pull off with the different combination of weapons you equip. DMC is just to me about killing your way through, but on Bayonetta I'm constantly trying to do some flashy combo I've never done before.

@ShoeMage lets not forget bayonetta's innovation for dual gun shooting, when you spin the stick 360 degrees, and you hold either attack button and the camera spins around and you shoot both of the guns. thats what DMC should have for gunslinger style.
