  • Spacca

  • AHHH! '60's TV was great. These kinds of things just aren't done anymore. I remember this commercial and the song...we sang it in the back seat of the station wagon until our parents made us stop. My oldest brother Danny was fresh back from the war and we sang it to him, he laughed 'til he cried.

  • @susanmroper, Your comment was lovely.Like a little peephole in to a normal american family,,,,,Sadly now gone i fear,,,

We grew up here in england with the viet nam war on our tv screens nightly,My younger brother thought it was a film,,,,,, Oh not again, Ive seen this, he would say, he was only 6 or 7 :)

  • I had this game as a child & remember that commercial... I bought one on Ebay!!!!!!!!!!

  • is this a real commercial?

  • Margeee. Is Lisa in camp granada? XD

  • *lol*

Da sag ich nuir: Bart das schwarze Schaf!

  • I remember a radio show that sang a funny version of that song in the 70´s and 80´s.

  • Just Awsome.

  • this makes me sad

  • Lisa is Camp Granada???

  • I can actually remember the commercial from when I was a kid.......Mom and Dad never got me the game, though.

Life went downhill for me ever since.

  • @rudyinthe505 wow how old are you dude

  • One of those in mint condition would have to be worth something.

  • I love Allan Sherman! I was so lucky to be introduced to him as a kid in the 70's.

  • haha omg great upload!!

  • Camp Grenada, is that a reffernce to the US intervention of Grenada in 1983?

  • I want one, for christmas!!

  • yo tambien lo vi en los simpson, por eso lo busque jaja XD

  • I had this game when I was a kid. It was great!

  • This commercial was way ahead of its time. It would even be way too "out there" for today. It doesn't come off as fake or forced like every other commercial there is or ever was. It doesn't promise to make you beautiful, or rich, or popular. Just Allan Sherman talking to a bunch of kids about a really cool board game. Gotta love it.

  • The game was marketed by Milton Bradley in late 1964; this ad probably came from a 1965 "SHENANIGANS" kinescope, as Milton Bradley sponsored and "packaged" that game show for ABC's Saturday morning schedule at the time}

  • LOL jajaaj lo vi en los simpson, i see in "the simpson" jajaj

  • The simpsons had a copy which noone would ever listen to - which now contains the recording of that store security goon's message.

  • WTF lighten up dude. I love allan sherman. It was a joke. way to take youtube users seriously.

  • Wow, how perceptive of you! Obviously any man who takes the trouble to sing to children or play board games with them MUST be some kind of sick pedophiliac, huh?

Here's another perceptive observation: Takes one to know one!

  • you're a pedo......call the police, I will report you b/c you are a pedo!

  • if only you your self wer 10 years younger

  • lol

  • Is Lisa in Camp Granada?

  • hahahaha that's soooo funny.(sarcasim)

  • ahahhahahahahahah! homer is best!

  • @ParkerDavis ahahahahah...marge! lisa is in camp granada?

  • He passed away in 1973.

  • Just sold this game at an auction for $500 in its orginal box. Brings back alot of memories I believe Alan Sherman passed away a few years ago

  • a few ?,,,,,,,,how about 35 years ago

  • I never knew there was a board game for Camp Granada!! That comedy song really stretched its potential didn't it?? I always loved it. And what ever became of Leonard Skinnard?

  • He got ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner....

    Probably from those rotten ptomatoes.

  • I clearly remember when this song came out, but I have ZERO recollection of this board game or the commercial. I'm guessing it wasn't heavily marketed by MB. Anyone else here remember this commercial?

  • I was thinking that same thing. Everybody remembers the song, it was hugely popular. But I don't remember the game at all. That's a great commercial and if I had seen it I'm sure I would have been pestering my parents to BUY ME THAT GAME!!! :-)

  • omg , i remember this game ,'m i that old?

  • Al que le guste esa mierda es mas mierda que ese tipo.

  • eres un triste y pobre pendejo. que se puede esperar de un triste venezolanito pendejo.

  • lol this is the best

  • Allan Sherman was a NUT!

  • rotten camp...

    rotten board...

    rotten cards...

    icky animals that are disgusting...

    o_0

    -_-

    wow

  • I believe I have the world's largest collection of Camp Granada board game sets....14 and counting!!

  • Doesn't anyone ever remember the 24 hour war titled "Granada"?

  • "Try to escape from camp"?? What the deuce?

  • what the fuck was that?!? 0.0

  • Was this a real board game? Or just satire?

  • groovy, seems like this was from 1965

  • is milton bradley really allan sherman's uncle?

  • wow awesome! please post more camp granada commercials!
