  • Beatlesque with a hint of the late great Harry Nillsen. Neil was a good songwriter. I think he and Eric (who was probably one of the more musical of the Pythons - One Foot In The Grave theme), did well.

  • This should be every partys anthem.

  • This should be the Democratic Party's anthem

  • @DukeofUSA you realy need to be creative instead of copy the last person coment

  • @MateusVIII I didn't! I changed it enough to get my point across but not enough to be a completely different comment because it is funny! >:P

  • This should be the Republican Party anthem.

  • I've always been one.

  • i love this friggen song!

  • Fee Fye foe Fum I smell the blood of an Asylum hey you you're just aa pain in the ass got as much brain as a dead ant , as much imagination as a caravan site HOW SWEET

  • Sounds like Harry Nillsonn

  • what sketch is 0:27 - 0:45?

  • @Enigma7861 Ministry of silly walks

  • I sing this song with my friends.

  • I am going to dedicate this song to my little sister !

  • At 2:16 the word that is cut is pissant, generally used to mean"an inconsequential, irrelevant, or worthless person" (Wikipedia). It's not a naughty word, people, feel free to use it to confuse those around you.

  • Thanks for posting this--I haven't heard this brilliant John Lennon parody in decades!

  • @bwworld A parody of which of his songs?

  • @tommyers No specific song, but more a parody of his early-70s style. "Mind Games" comes to mind as an example.

  • Klassentrottel als Prinzip

    fool for principle

(pleas correct me if it isn't correct english, i come from austria ^^)

  • The thing that gets me is that they're far from being idiots. It's some of the smartest comedy you'll ever find.

  • hahaha

  • well done

  • no wonder people admire monty

  • This song makes me bang my head into a wall in joy!

  • This is not a song, it's an anthem!

  • The basis for the song Whatever by Oasis

  • They sung this song on the LIVE AT HOLLYWOOD special.

  • I KNOW it's his song.

I mean it's perfect for the Python Crew.

  • This is as close to comedy perfection as you can get....

And this is truly THEIR song!

    Long live the PYTHONS!

  • Actually this song is Neil Innes' Song. The only connection it's got with Python is that i was Played live and is featured on the Live at drury Lane album and the Live at the Hollywood Bowl film

  • At 1:38 is my fav part, kinda sounds like a song i heard befor

  • sure, its a great song with a great tune, but it sincerelly did NOT belong in monty python live, hence the lack of silly. good, boring song.

  • HAHHAHAH!

  • still a great song ! :)

  • 0:28 ...how to turn around with style!

    Hahaha so funny

  • hahahha goes perfectly with the silly walk clips

  • fell in love with that song while hollywood bowl. this video touches me the most of all. can be caused by the fact that i've just watched the memorial service of graham... =(

  • This is wonderfully silly. Thank you, sir or madam or turtle.

  • You matched John's silly walk up very well with the piano.

  • Not the best quality but still very very good.

  • I always liked it too. And Chinese, of course!

    Thanks for posting!!

  • make me proud to be an idiot

  • @iforgotalot /? Hi, Ay;m a biggger idjit than you

  • @iforgotalot Good boy

  • ^_^ One of my friends says this is my theme song.

This rocks, thanks for the upload!

  • You have great friends! xD

  • 5 stars =D

  • If you wanted to get into all the things The Beatles and most other bands and musicians ripped off (except for the first few) we'd be here for a while as pretty much nothing is original anymore... And it's only two notes anyway. "How Sweet". Law suit.

  • Meh. Whatever was never on an album or B-Sides collection or anything. The "How Sweet" is like the "I'm Free" bit. But Oasis pretty much ignored the song at every turn so it doesn't matter really. Much, much worse things have happened.

  • thank you ,,this was great...made me think of a lot of other ways of editing their stuff...well done,,

  • im freeeeeeeeeeeee to be whatever i!

  • bless ya!! this song is alot older than soding oasis!!

written by Neil Innes.....look him up...he's a very funni man!

  • i'm free, to be an idiot. whatever i choose and i'll sing the blues if i want.

  • .... ummm ok. You do that.

  • sounds just like a beatles song

  • *WERE (scuse the typo)

  • do the japs really have a word for spam or where the subtitles improvised..?

  • japanese have a writting system called katakana which they use to transliterate foreign words.

spam was written as "su-pa-mu" (based on their phonetics of course...)

  • Oasis ripped off the melody of this song for "Whatever."

  • why is it in the first half of the video you cant hear them talking

and then towards the end you can?

  • @fogchicken Imperfect editing I suppose, not enough to spoil my enjoyment tho'.
