EverQuest - SOE fails one more time with EverQuest 2

I remember having to ask a friend on steam to buy TSF for me as a gift then i paid him back, because he was in norway and i was in the US. Europe got it before the US that year. That annoyed the crap out of me. Being a raider, i must have the latest content ASAP if i wish to continue raiding. lol

EQ 1 is still the best - why ? NOT because of the Gameplay, NOT because of the graphics (which are old, admittivly), BUT because of the Players you've literally "grown up" with over the years. At least thats how it is in my case. Will stay on that game no matter WHAT until the last server goes down for the last time. The End. :)

not sure what a video about the launch of EQ1 has to do with EQ2 bing a fail, but I hardly consider the 2nd most popular MMORPG in the world a fail (personally I think it is the first, but WoW's inflated numbers that they release say otherwise).

I still play Everquest 2 and I probably always will. But I admit Sony has been messing up alot lately. What I am looking forward to is Destiny of Velious. Theres going to be flying mounts. Thats freaking kool!!! I wish they would give certain classes a levitation spell though. In Everquest 1 there was a levitation spell. Or maybe add new classes. I wish they werent so uptight about it. I mean seriously you can get your account suspended for mentioning the name "Beastlord". Kinda sucks.

i just finished my last day on eq2 with 2 accounts and decided this is enough. PVP is great but not 100% balanced in respect of battlegrounds, warfields and general pvp and other issues etc...

Ya I left EQ2 when they did SOO and I think I made the right call. With the revamp to the combat system i'm really disgusted by it. MMOs seem to be dumbing themselves down for the braindead masses lately.

@adgato75 the problem is that they listen too much. No matter how much you listen to the players, there are always hundreds of thousands of assholes with 1500 different opinions, you can't please everyone, so if you listen to ANYONE, you piss off everyone else.

@Bidon45 no, bullshit. they dont listen to the players, they dont listen to the testers. they concentrate on things that arent important line LoN, they hire programmers instead of game designers, and they let the suits in the office call the shots too much. the fuckjob prices in the cash store and everquest extended nonsense should make these points obvious.

@EQ2Rikou I started not long ago... I played EQ2 from the get go.. even in Beta! I'm just really fed up with the lack of everythign! :D It's still a good game but... not for me anymore! Maybe EverQuest Next :D

@modepc i dont get why people dislike the game ive been playing eq sience 98 when my dad put me on his lap and taught me to play XD i picked up the game again in 08 and played until SF i admit i lost intrest in SF but the DoV expansion was EPIC i love eq2 again and even got some of my friends in real life to play i dont think they "messed up" the game is wonderful i sold my xbox to get a new graphics card long story short eq2 is good game :D
