Jim French recorded three records with his son that made it to Googles Best Rock Albums. Ry Cooder, Pharoah Saunders,and Zakir Hussein have all recorded on instruments of his. I was there when Pharoah Saunders had French stand up in front of the audience.He called him "The Great Jim French,everybody else talks,but this is the only guy that actually invents new wind instruments.John (Coltrane) and Eric(Dolphy) would have loved your work!".Diamanda could NEVER get that level of respect!
