I saw Plastikman 1.5 and I'd have to give that Visual show the edge because people were hardstyle dancing to the ride cymbals pumping from the 909...Plastikman (Richiw Hawtin) is a different kind of music....more energy and beat...seeing the visuals and dancing to me is better than sitting on your ass in an ampitheater...a smaller set up like Hawtins you can tour with

Deadmau5's feel more like I'm watching a visualizer program that randomly cycles through sequences vs Amon's feeling like every sequence is perfectly matched with every element and texture in the song

You're entitled to your own opinion but coming from someone who can appreciate all types of music I can say deadmau5 receives a lot more hate than he deserves because if you took one look at him you'd think he was a mainstream producer designed for kids. The truth is he knows what he's doing and he is very good. He experiments a lot as well and tracks like "Don't forget the paperwork" and "A Moment to Myself" prove how good he is.

@Floydian303 I've seen deadmau5 live which was amazing mainly because I love his music so much. I'm sure a lot more work went into the visuals here. From this video the imagery is matched up flawlessly with the music. deadmau5 was still a really fun show though and his setup matched up with exactly what he's about, so it was good in that sense. I'm a bigger deadmau5 fan but I'd love to see Amon Tobin live if he came to Australia. Still I can't complain I'm seeing Aphex Twin early next year.
