Obama is turning this country into a social welfare state where everyone believes that they are entitled to everyone elses goods(tax money that pays for medicare, medicaid, food stamps, etc.). We are getting lazier by that day, What the poor people need is jobs, not programs that let them live off of other peoples hard work. And Obama has been horrible at making jobs.

@flyhi94 The programs implemented such as medicare, medicaid, and food stamps do not make people lazier. Although these programs are very beneficial for Americans who receive it, it isn't enough. As a result, they still have to go out an earn a living. By the way, Obama is not turning this country into a social welfare state, he just wants rich people and corporations to pay more in taxes because many of them pay less than they should or don't pay at all.

Taxes increase because many people do not pay taxes (i.e. rich people & rich corporations), as a result, the poor people are taxed more and more. This isn't fair because the poor Americans can no longer depend solely on their pay checks.

I have no problem with rich people or them living a luxurious life, but they should not walk over other people in order to improve the lifestyles, which by the way, the only improving they need is to down-size a bit if they are that money hungry.
