Hi, my son makes stop-motion. Tri-pods helps prevent movement/jiggle, but they don't always allow for the close eye-level shots needed for Lego minifigures. I noticed your camera was on something flat. What were you using to keep you camera steady and able to slide around? And, what kind of camera is it? I'm going to be buying a new digital SLR camera for Christmas but need advice on which is best for stop-motion. Thank you!

@ljwoodel Buy a webcam. The easiest way to do stop motion. I will recomend you the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 ( around 70 euros ) but there are cheaper ones.
