WRX Crower 280 Cams STI block hybrid style

this might be a stupid question, but is 280 a 2,8 mm lift of the cam? what does 280 mean?

@GinoJerry86 Advertised Duration - the cam is opening the valves for 280°. The lift for these particular cams is 10.8mm

i really doubt they are 280's mine idle at 12-1700 rpm full stand alone

Its the duration of the cams that give it the "loop" sound

Whats the output ? Did you get custom cp pistons to get the CR back or fettle the heads?

Subaru doesn't sell a bug deflector for any turbo models (baring the 2004 FXT which has a lower profile one) for a reason. You're gonna need to take yours off.

what is the difference between a long block and a short block?

long block is the full engine. (block, pistons, crankshaft, heads)

short block is just the block with pistons, and crankshaft

my car makes the same clattering sound and I have a jdm 97 wrx engine, gets a little quieter after warming up completely
