Anyone who thinks Wakefield's comment on vaccines and autism is unbiased need to research and track the money. My son was perfectly fine. Then he got his vaccine. Bingo, he became autistic. And has suffered for many years. Still I so wish we in the autism community could get it all together. The war between the vaccine/anti-vaccine camp and the war between the genetic and environmental camp is so extreme sometimes! It's like a religious war. We should be working together whatever our beliefs.
There was an increase in measles and mumps? Id like to see that data? Just saying there was an increase without verification doesnt make that credible either.
Wakefield is a disgrace to the medical profession and a criminal. The man deserves to be in prison. Anyone who defends this child abuser and propagandist should be ashamed of themselves.
