  • nice vid

  • Comments like ' can it run minecraft ' and so on.. stop being an asshole. If you can afford this system then just watch it and make your own. BUT if you can't afford just shut the fck up and watch. I can just dream a pc like this and these comments are pretty annoying. SRSLY GUYS STOP BEING RETARDS.

  • u sound like a premature little girl

  • haha, he tripped over all the boxes, fell over and got stabbed through the chest by monitor stand. thats awesome

  • where there soon ssds?

  • But can i run Windows 7 ?

  • @zappload it is running that.

  • @zappload Read description; it clearly says 'Windows 7, DirectX11, Corei7...'

  • lol, the epic fact is that this guy taught us something awesome about windows that we would never ever really ever find out

  • @XAnImEzLoVeRX i did -_-

  • @DragonCobra00 who are u?

  • @XAnImEzLoVeRX im a random man

  • @DragonCobra00 then wtf man

  • what lights are those??

  • whats the case?

  • Dude you have earings and you sound really gay.

  • @neweggemployee If by gay you mean he makes alot of money and has a hot asian wife, the yes.

  • lol u have modern warfare on ur pc

  • I need help guys! I'm planing to buy this setup: Intel Core i7 2600K ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, Socket-1155 Corsair H80 CPU Cooler Corsair 8GB CL8 1600Mhz VENGEANCE or Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB CL9 Corsair SSD Force Series 3,120GB Seagate Barracuda 1TB EVGA GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX CUDA or XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 Dual Fan Corsair AX 750W PSU or Corsair AX 850W PSU Creative SB Audigy SE Sony Optiarc Blu-Ray Writer, BD-5300S (maybe only dvd) Obsidian 650D case So tell me. thanks!
  • @chingano srry for the mess but i dont have much space

  • @chingano go for the 570+the 750W PSU, you will have much less trouble than AMD drivers. for cooling though, you'll be better off with a noctua nh-d14 ( lower temps and lower noise than the H80, plus it's cheaper too )

  • @bgioni but isn't water cooling better?

and about the RAM should i go with the 8GB or 16GB?

I can save about 300 Kr(swedish which are 45-50 USD) in buying the 8GB CL8

  • @chingano custom watercooling loops = better, the corsair H-series are pretty bad though. Higher temps than high-end air coolers and very noisy in comparison ( high-end air coolers use pwm fans that work at 1300rpm tops while the fans on the corsair fans go up to 2000rpm and that's very noisy for a 120cm fan. ). If your pc will be used only for gaming 8GB will be enough for the next 5 years or so, more than 8GB is needed only for heavy photo/video editing.

  • @bgioni 120mm lol, 120cm would be twice the size of the case :))

  • @bgioni I'll be editing but not often, i think I'll go with 16GB just to be comfortable .

  • @chingano Yes water cooling is better (in general), how ever Custom water cooling "Can" be better they also then to leak more often. i bought my pc a month ago from Cdon.se, for 4300kr AmdFX 6100 clock@ 4Ghz with Corsair H100, 4x4GB 1600mhz(CL9). NZXT Phantom Full tower now i already over clocked it, so i generate more heat then normal and i'm still at 31 degree's max on full load cpu stress test for about a good 15 minutes in. i tested it with fans and i got well over 54 degree's

  • @chingano only get 16 if you are using it for photo editing or minecraft. Minecraft runs off RAM

  • What case is that. I was thinking about getting the antec df-85

  • lol i got an antec df-30 case wich is very small and there are fucking cables EVERYWHERE!!!

  • Thumbs up if youre watching this in 2012

  • Graphics Card?

  • holy shit this is in 2009 and still shits over computers

  • Case?

  • @MrSniiperRiffle Corsair Obsidian 800D (there is annotation at 3:30 to overview/first look at the case)

  • holy shit it works...the shake thing

  • @EnnTomi1 I know right. The more you know...

  • what graphics card was it?

  • @mroc170 XFX Radeon HD 5850 crossfire.

  • Hmm i wish my case came with that cable management, ohw well no biggie i guess.

You know in my situation it made more sense to buy a PC from a builder,it was a standard PC but i have 2 years warranty with that, besides all components inside they are included with that PC.

I have bought a other GFX card and a 922 HAF case with extra 200mm blue led fan.

It's all in cluded in that 2 year warranty, but i have to do this way because im under financial supervision.

  • @Imapoorbastard

The problem is i can't fiddle around with my case to much in case i break something, everything i buy has to be build in by the builder and not me, if it was up to me i would've made my cables less of a mess, but he asked €75,- to make it more better, which is a total ripp-off if you ask me.

Next components i will buy are gonna be build in by me,because the components i have now are the ones that have the 2 year warranty.

Kinda messed up i know, but it is what it is.

  • cool!

  • just watched Corsair Dream Machine 2012 :3

  • @staticslipk5

    linus with glasses :P

  • wow i had windows 7 since it came out and just found out on the shake thing :P

  • @xblalex And now you can forget about it :P

  • i really love your videos linus . i saw you put your ssd at the top .. That give me GOOD idea

  • LOL INTEL BOARDS ARE FOXCONN!!!!!!!! I have never had a foxconn board go past a year without shitting itself.

  • @REPOMAN24722 than you should stop building your own pcs , because obviously you suck if its not living more than a year

  • @Pandasareawesomex Obviously you know nothing about hardware because I have build Gigabyte and Asus builds before and none have ever failed.

  • @REPOMAN24722 I've got 5 folding pcs running on foxconn boards. Been running since 2008 almost 24/7. I'm sure they'll fail soon, but they haven't yet. *shrug*

  • @Landrar Well you are one of the lucky ones, everyone i know has only owned 1 foxconn motherboard and they have failed, only reason I had more is because of warranty.

  • UR AWESOME BRO U NEVER MAKE ME BORE UR GR8......

  • thanx for the shaking advice

  • lol

  • Should make an updated Corsair build w/ H100 and HD 7970's. Probably LGA 1155 too.

  • @DJSMedicate lol, i just saw it on my subscriptions and then came to my inbox and saw this, thanks

  • Wtf SHAKE THING?

  • why is this 3 year old (very good) video in my YT timeline???

  • My mind is confused, this video is 3 years old, but it still looks like a pc from nowadays, windows 7, core i7, 6gb ram...

  • I knew about aero snap but had no idea about aero shake -_-

  • where do you get just the lights for that pc

  • what lights are those?

  • @str4jo cold cathodes by Sunbeam

    gReetz eNo

  • @AFasdfasdasda nope they are from Sunbeam, given away by the blue plastic inverter you see lying at the bottom of the case

  • all this years using windows7..i thought that i knew the tricks and funny things this OS has.... until today... 26th of january...THAT I DISCOVER THE WINDOWS SHAKING THING!!!!!

    :AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWYEAAAAAAAAAAAAA:

  • @cs16rlz how do you do that ?

  • just found the shake

  • i have windows 7 ultimate 32 bit :D :P

  • 1KW psu for a system like that is just overkill.. That thing maybe sucks like 600-650w at the most.

  • see i didn't even know that you could shake your windows 7 window ..... what else is windows 7 hiding from me?

  • Comment removed

  • thumbs up if u were shaking ur window at 1:00

  • @atom608 i was shaking my fist

  • @atom608 I did alredy knew tath even BEFORE it came out! :P (Im looking up stuff ALOT if i will buy things and i want to know EVERYTHING abaout it.)

  • @PeterEdinx You aren't actually 'poor' if you have a computer to access the internet with, so I'm safe to assume you have enough to eat too.. you aren't poor.

  • Props if you noticed the "Dell" mouse!!.

  • PEWPEWPEW

  • If you hate been poor go get a job, do a good job and in the future you will be able to have more than 1 of those.

  • @brunofeysI completely agree!

  • @Tsinepanos :)

  • @brunofeys what if u cant get a fucking job

  • @punkkerboyzz Or you 10/12 or you really, really dumb. If you wash car in your neighborhood, gain like... 10 dollars per day, in 1 month you will have 200/250, in 8 months you will be able to start mounting the pc and in the 12 month you will have money for all. Maybe more! Common, patience, work and principal, you need to WANT IT. Nothing come easy.

  • @brunofeys if u live in america, good luck with getting a job...

  • @stinkykyle96 I LIVE IN FUCKING BRAZIL! I gain 2000 reais (Brazilian money) per month and i made college. And you know how much it cost a GTX 580 here? 1800 reais (Brazilian money). 90% of my salary. That's life. Get over it. BTW, i have 580 SLI, and now that you know the price and how much i gain... do the math, you will be surprise how much i worked to get that!

  • @brunofeys I think you misunderstood, what I said. U told that guy to get a job because he said he was poor. he wouldnt be able to get a job if he lives in america

  • WTF that shacking thing actually works xD and i knew about the other to the side thing xD

  • Corsair encouraging people to "stock up" on Corsair products???Noooooooooooo

  • Why does corsair take all the glory

  • @afaqahmed43 they make quality products

  • I have this case.

  • @Lycandingo COngrats

  • I already knew about that window shaking thing (Pokerface o_o)

  • PEW PEW PEW

  • I confirm: even with an arrow in the knee, shaking the windows actually works....

  • I was shaking my browser until I remembered I am using Linux......lmao

  • @DrNoOriginality: Corsair Obsidian 800D

  • What is the case?

  • holy shit, it's 2012 and i just found out about the shake thing...

  • @ultimateako96 It's a native 15 FPS video.

  • Linus looks so stupid here.. .

  • Intel still makes motherboards? :P

  • ero shake or w/e it is named is like something i never knew i had lol, i just try doing the same thing as you did and it worked xD, soemthing so simple yet i never really payed atention to it lol, shake shake shake, shake your boot,..... i mean window..... xD

  • Pew Pew Pew

  • lol 800D

  • can anyone recommend a case where the psu can be hidden at the bottom like that, please?

  • @evilharb Loads of cases have the PSU at the bottom. Go to Newegg.com to check out the cases there and you can see if the PSU is bottom-mounted or not. A few examples of cases with bottom-mounted PSU are: CM690, Lian Li PC X1000, Corsair 800D. The CM690 and X1000. The CM690 I would recommend as it is cheap, has plenty of room to work in and drop in huge video cards, has many mounts for fans and keeps your components cool.

  • @garekinokami hes refering to the 800D where it has the psu out of sight. Like its got its own compartment

  • Comment removed

  • are those cold cathodes ?

  • One thing i dont get corsair pushes there warranty and tries to get you to buy there product but really a true gamer changes his gaming machine more times then there underwear. so warranty isnt a issue .I just cant understand why people spend large amounts of cash just to play a game i think its getting really silly

  • what kind of case is that?

  • @heidi1amos Looks like a Corsair 800D

  • hate being poor

  • @PeterEdinx you fool we arent poor... ncix is just rich >:|

  • @PeterEdinx hahahaha same :(

  • @PeterEdinx me 2

  • Can someone tell me roughly the price for all this in £'s?

  • @SunnyProductiions alot that is a very expensive case

  • how do i change the red button on my computer screen to blue ?

  • OMG I HAVE THAT MOUSE!!! lol

  • Hey man ! One question,please !

    I use a standard motherboard(MSI),costs around 65 $ with an I7 860 and 8 GB of RAM 1333 Mhz.

    Is pretty standard: 1xPCI-E 2.0,3 PCI,SATA2,USB2,RAID TECH,etc AND THAT´S PRETTY MUCH IT....

    My question is:

Can I put whatever GPU I want in my PC?(I´m not talking about sizes,I´m talking about the motherboard support for the x GPU).

Being a standard mobo,is there a problem with the GPU I want ?

You know,I don´t believe too much in mobos, they´re all circuits...

    THANKS.

  • @masakruwolverine You should have compatibility for any current-gen card. Just make sure you have at least one dedicated 8x PCI (preferably 16x) slot or two if you want to use Crossfire/SLI. Being a standard board, though, it probably only has one slot that is GPU-capable.

  • @crazy88boss And what´s up with this guy ? This LinuSTechTips....I find him quite a selfish bastard... Succes doesn´t mean only good videos, you also need to communicate with your watchers...help them :) This guy´s not doing this...

  • @masakruwolverine You do realize this channel has 1,075 vidoes, yes? Linus has a job at this company (NCIX, Canada) and is not required to upload videos at all; he does so in his spare time. You expect him to be able to search all 1,075 videos for user questions? Forget that. If you want to know something then you type @[username] to ask them from the video. Otherwise you send them a private message. The uploader will not know you have a question unless you address them directly.

  • @crazy88boss soooooooooooooooooooooooooo true

  • @AEME000 use double sided tape.

  • 3:50 you mean solid state drive, not hard drive :P

  • These Days...

  • my dell is a piece of shit.

  • How to put the SSD in that place? thanks

  • where did you get led strips lights

  • Hot swappable bays protected by lasers xD

  • this video failed at 0:42 when he said the intel motherboards were a excellent "choice" for any........dream pc?

  • Corsair really screwed consumers over by not including mainboard level fan control on the Watercooler. You have to buy a 100 dollar "commander" link item that, while nice, can be done via the pc screen. The external module is not bad though

  • thumbs up if you were shacking your browser at 0:57

  • @sezendia shaking*

  • @sezendia it dint work with me as im on linux

  • @adamroseski it only works on Windows. Its windows 7 that makes you able to do that, not the browser :)

  • @sezendia im being sarcastic its a joke

  • @adamroseski ah well

  • 800d or 600t ???

  • @ukIImyles 800d

  • @ukIImyles 600t

  • shit, is that a dell mouse?
