  • what is the resistance? that is the question!

  • thanks for this...it is a wonderful series you have created. As for te comments..:so much dysfunctional nonsense. As Plato observed so long ago....people believe in all kinds of nonsense.te Phenomenon of Man may be dense...but its heart is pure.

  • YOU are a very intersting man :)

  • @Tiarnan76

So you mean were going from a world where Christianity (and religion) have killed more people than anything else into a new order where these ideologies are not the infrastructure of mans worldview and because of this change, mankind will be worse off? I'm not dissin you man, I'm being serious. WITH the Christian god as a basis it's been hell on earth... Please explain?

  • You are on a good track of personal study and inquiry. Check on the work of Jean Houston, PhD who at age 14 met him while in hurry one day and was blessed to have weekly walk with him where they each contributed to the rich expereince of their relationship across the years,. See her on Facebook

    Blessings, Kris

  • Teilhard de Chardin is nothing but an engineer of the new age luciferian ideology that will be used to unify all peoples in one global satanic slave system.

you better read some bible instead of that educated puke

  • @Armando7654 I'm afraid you've been misinformed. Have you read this book?

  • @0ThouArtThat0 Hes right man - the Jesuits are behind all todays wars and revolutions in the means to setting up a one world communist government -people more readily give up their rights when they are removed from God - evolution does just that - Teilhard de Chardin was behind many of the hoaxes trying to prove evolution....Youre aware that the Jesuits were kicked out of every country in the world for their evil works, right?? but over time (when people forgot) got back in...

  • @Armando7654 Do you know what is it the general knowledge ?

And Teilhard de Chardin is a man who made science advanced .

  • @Armando7654 You demonstrate in a single statement that religion breeds fear in the fearful and enlightenment in the faithful.

  • Thanks for posting! I would be interested in your thoughts on the comparison between Teihard's Omega Point and Gebser's Integral Structure. _SEM_

  • @SingleEyeMovement I think Gebser's EPO is a far more nuanced work of cultural phenomenology, while Teilhard's THP is primarily a work of cosmic, or perhaps more essentially terrestrial/Earth phenomenology. Both focus on the human, but Gebser exclusively so (except for a few cryptic remarks about Earth in ch. 12 of EPO), while Teilhard always places the human in the context of the entire expanse and duration of the universe. As for Omega and the mutation to Integral consciousness...

  • @0ThouArtThat0 ...I think Teilhard's Omega was conceived by him to be an inevitability, while Gebser conceived of the Integral mutation as possible, but not necessary. Other than this, there is much similarity in their ideas. Both suggest there is no future in over-pronounced individualism, what Teilhard calls "the entirely wrong kind of anthropocentrism," because it causes us to overlook the depths of connection in nature.

  • @0ThouArtThat0 This is mighty nice clarity, thank you. I've missed you in the recent Holons videos, hope you return soon. me and thepathlesspath here have been having some excellent synchronistic conversations as of late.

  • Good stuff man. I wish more biologists were writing about this and speaking of it equally coherently.

  • de Chardin is wonderful.

  • But what does he say about powerful institutions that dominate? What does he say about the resilience of the resistant members of our species?

  • @AmbientDisorder evolutionary forces are too overpowering... swarm around these old fortresses like ants to their prey... metaphorically speaking!

  • @AmbientDisorder Evolution always presupposes opposition. If life met with no resistance, growth would be synonymous with mere chaotic change. We are faced with a challenge so great that most scientists would claim it physically impossible: the transformation of matter into spirit.

Resistant members of the species...? who is resisting who? I am glad that ideas like Teilhard's are criticized, because it forces greater clarification of his vision.

  • @0ThouArtThat0 So that's "the challenge we're faced with" ... fascinating *lol*

Since when do you enjoy Jesuitism, Matt?
