Choir Competition Klang District Level 2009 Star School

great...i was on the fist star choir batch and we won 2nd place on the first comp. i can see a lots of improvement and as my life goes, i keep wondering y star not crown champion. u have good instructor, good conductor, nice songs arrangement, but still not champion...

y only 4 boys? thats the issue. i think star got many talented boys with great voice.maybe u can do something to make them want to joint your team,their voice is same important as gurl voice

@zaczeero the importance of the choir team in school, especially star school, is getting lesser and lesser now. at the time that I was still around, it was quite difficult to recruit boys to enter. I had to make do with those 4 boys. arranging the songs for this odd choir team is difficult too but i think i manage to pull it off and i also salute their enthusiasm. if you go back to school today, there isn't a proper instructor around and yet they still continue having the choir. pm me 4 details

why only 4 guys? Dominated by girls... don't u all get tired moving around.. and I was thinking "what was that noise??" at 4:07 and only after replying I saw you all clapping hands.. that was so fast!

From where I come from, we don't do actions together with singing.. I guess Klang likes this type of style?

i believe what you see on video is a lil fast.. i'd say it's a techy prob... it looked better live... as for the clapping... it was adapted from the original... as for Klang, well, i think you can see pretty well that we DO like this stuff and we will most like KEEP doing it if we have to...

Erm, not particularly... if you check out the professional choir... they, too, tend to sing while performing actions. (usually for fast and happy songs)

1. it makes the whole performance interesting. It's fun to watch.

2. unique and catches the judges attention

3. it's not easy to do actions while singing and NOT reducing the quality of singing.
