I could understand if people say they don't like it; it's an acquired taste for sure. But saying it sucks is incorrect. If it sucked, no one would like it and CLEARLY millions of people love it. Also, saying that the band "could not hit 2 of the same chords in a song if they tried" is absolutely ridiculous. Any musician who has tried playing Emperor songs will agree that they write some of the most complicated material in rock, ESPECIALLY in the guitars. Takes years of practice to get it perfect

@Justin93koch most metal actually isn't satanic at all. a good portion of it is anti-religious, but mainly secular in nature. black metal is usually satanic, though. except for Immortal. they're my favorite black metal band. their lyrics are mainly about grandiose landscapes and ancient battles, plus their sound has a heavy thrash metal influence. thrash is my favorite metal genre (check out Violator, early Testament, Vio-Lence, etc). glad to hear you hate Wayne, though. I love Tech N9ne.
