I have a ps3 and I realized this also. I think it's because the 360 version has full 1080p resolution and the ps3 version has only 720p resolution. I was so mad when I found out.

I've been playing the demo and in my opinion the Skate. demo is better than Tont Hawks project 8 all by itself. The Tony Hawk games are going down hill. alright this is how i fell, THPG has better replay editing you know like camera angles and slow mo and just having full range of putting your clips together, BUT the overall gameplay i have to give to EA SKATE. i just think its more realistic than THPG, ya know i wish the makers of the two games could come together and make the ultimate sk8n game

Actually, since project 8, you just had to tap up to move. There is no more autokick.

i had project 8 for the ps2 and wen i tap up it went to fast and i cudnt like up my tricks properly but in american wasteland wen i pressed sqaure he only went at a medium speed so i had more control over how fast i cud grind n stuff so does this play like project 8 or wastleand thanks for help

I have the ps2 version of project 8 also and if you don't want your skater to go fast, then you have to make sure that your special meter is not full, then press up and your skater will push with a normal speed. And, proving ground is probably closer to project 8 because you press up to move, not square. Although, I did like square from the past tony hawk games better.

Thpg is the same thing. In every one your a nobody you goes pro in a mater of about month. If they were trying to sell this as a game like halo Id be fine with it. But they are selling it as a real skater coming up? First off skateboarding has no stereo types, its all individually different to everyone who does it and thats what makes it beautiful. Next this isnt skating... this is skating on the moon. It doesnt even look like skating.
