Shoot through your windshield and you've just sharply curtailed your escape and pursuit options. Remember that car is a 2000+ lbs "bullet". Make that attacker a hood ornament. If you live a thousand years there will never be a cause to shoot through your own windscreen.
@faffaflunkie yes but i guess your not understanding what im saying. you are right. and i agree with you. but what if the car WILL NOT START. stuff like this happens in a split second and split second decisions can be a game changer in a time like this. if your car cant start and the bullets start flying the only thing left to do is return fire.
@Icandrum2 Well if you are trying to start your car you can not be shooting at the same time. If people are shooting at you with automatic weapons and your car is completely disabled you are pretty much a goner. The occupants pictured here are shooting from a vehicle with the ENGINE RUNNING. I don't know what training course this is but they have to rethink their tactics. You have to remember that once someone is improperly trained that UNLEARNING the defective training is extremely difficult.
i see just one error, should be one for cover and one for reload, reload at the same time leave the enemy enough time for approaching to the vehicule or run in the opposite direction :P. i think is just my opinion.
That is true, but then again that would be incredibly hard to organsie, and generally speaking after both of you have unloaded a full clip if you still don't have time to re-load, you were in deep shit from the start.
@vondervick I think that it depends on the situation. I could go all day about how many different ways, but I think it would be better to seek cover first. Firing from inside the car was a good idea, certainly if you hit someone(Don't always have to kill to stop someone.). But say if the 'enemy' had assault rifles or anything large caliber, then the persons in the ambushed car should seek cover. If they're daring, the ambushed might reverse it and head straight for the 'enemy', wouldn't advise.
Ya but nobody is shooting back.

@faffaflunkie thats true but what if they shoot the engine block? or if the car is just not wanting to start?

@Icandrum2 If you are ever ambushed in a vehicle-just drive away. Duh. Even if the shoot the radiator you can still drive ten miles.

I don't think glass is very good for cover as they defend their position from the rear.

Are you really expected to be able to hear those commands after shooting inside a car?

They're wearing full ear protection, so I don't see why not.

were you first taught to try the skinny pedal on the right instead of shooting through the windshield in a front ambush?

Sense and aggression - that is! Keep up the good work!
