  • can the capturing part be done on blender ? if not please post me the software name

  • Your a clever cookie Mr puppet, good work. Was it easy to use the data from the motion plus?

  • Nice!

  • This is a really great imitation, have you considered going for a job in motion control?

  • i did something similar but instead of a steady light i used a strobe light and i tracked the differences between each flash to get movement but yours is definitely smoother tracking

  • Un poco mierdita, no??.............

  • Un poco???

  • This is really quite impressive but what needs to be done is adding IR motion plus calibration as done in Wii Sports Resort to stop it from losing it's calbration.

  • Well the software does handle calibration.

  • dark dot => yaw

  • accelerometers => pitch & roll

  • Calibration with IR would require to set up a external IR source and positioning the ball not to occlude the wiimote IR camera

  • This is all like the first step to a 1000 mile trip.. we are well..actualy already there wtf is taking so long lol ARE WE THERE YET?>?? sony and nintendo? plz give us VR ={

  • They already go VR, but Sony and Nintendo can't seem to stop the VR from killing the players for real :3

  • You see i keeping telling people that wii mote plus has the same tech as the Sony Motion Controller. Thanks for proving it !

  • Well, you see that he's using a camera with the Glowing Ball on top, so basically, the setup is identical to the PS3 Controller.

  • Actually Sonny's Move got a magnetometer too, it uses it to fix gyrometer drift

  • @kfd056 Wiimote has the same tech? Uhhhhh... no it doesn't... not unless you spend the money to add the tech to it yourself. Until Nintendo makes it a mass-market add-on it's pointless to even have it.

    Besides, you sacrifice pointing when you obstruct the Wiimote camera with the ball. The Move can do absolute pointing with just internals because of the magnetometer, which detect absolute yaw in addition to the absolute tilt from the gyros.

  • @MuchRockness i said wiimote plus, which i meant to say wiimotion plus. Anyway wiimotion plus is not point less. There's a numbers of games that use it and are coming out for it, for example Zelda wii, red steel 2, etc. Another thing is the games that are out are bundle with wiimotion plus so your mass market argument pretty much fails. Finally, hands on impressions, which can be seen around various sites on the web, on PSmove shows how it is nothing special from what we seen with wiimotionplus.

  • @kfd056 I know you're talking about a Wii Motion Plus Wiimote. This is not the same as Move because you'd need the ball puppetrepublic added and you'd need a camera. Until Nintendo makes that available, the Wii is not the same tech. The Wiimote+ can be modded like puppet did, but otherwise it's not a PS Move. What I meant by it being pointless is that for him to have this mod there is no gaming use for it unless he makes the games himself.

  • @MuchRockness The BASE tech is there or it wouldn't be able to do this even with additions.

  • @FerociousFox That's not saying much though- the additions are just as important as the base tech. Nintendo would need to add a magnetometer, a glowing light, and a TV-mounted webcam.

  • @kfd056 he had to put a light bulb and add a camera to the setup for a reason... without thise the IR receivers just suck

  • Best zombie ever.

  • yeah, are you thinking of releasing this?

  • why are you trying to sodomize that poor little monster?

  • awesome!

    How do you recalibrate the motion plus gyros in Yaw?

  • Looks very stable and pretty cool man! are you thinking about releasin the source of this? i would love to put my hands on this.

    Good luck and congratz.
