Unfortunately in real life the victims of that kind of abuse don't find it as easy to recover as Marianna's character did. She's an incredible filmmaker with so much to say. Look its common knowledge that 100 years ago there were 100,000 men in prison. The divorce rate was 3% and the tax rate was 1%.

What is going on wiht the sundace Film Fest postings.They are all about SEX... Is the Fest becomming a soft porn event. What ever happened to the family film? something my kids can watch without beiong exposed o issues and cahracters obsessed with sex and superficial relationships... I am a movie maker too and I do wish you luck. But Disney/Pixar corporate media doesn't need to be the only way kids can see films. Come on guys let the family filmaker have a chance at this!!!

Couldn't agree more. Real quality stands on its own and doesn't depend on 'sleaze sex' to sell. Sleazy immorality under the guise of a 'love story' is just sleazy immorality and not love at all. Disgusting! Only thing the media industry would understand is boycotts.

SEX SELLS... but sense I'm in the industry PLEASE don't boycott. lol I can't help to think someone in the Admin. of the Festival Organization can see what they are doing to THEMSELVES... there is always Toranto and so many other festivals that are NOT soft porn out there. to me it seems more indemic to this particular Festival, hey maybe it 's the snow and I don;t mean the snow that falls from the sky...lol SUPPORT INDY FILMS it's an awesome concept!!!
