u have ur kicks slightly behind one another. i use reaper and as it has different functions im wondering would duplicating and delaying a kick give it that draggin sound like yours in the vid

hey, i´m really thankfull for all your vids...but now i have got a question:

in the vid "How to make an electro house drum beat" you made a "second" clap with the exs 24 sampler and put the envelope attack up so you got an uplifting effect before the "snap" hits. which settings i have to set so that i got this effect? do u use another clap or the same which you layering on? maybe you can upload the same video with a higher resolution cause i can´t see the settings in the exs 25.

@MauriceLyonFeckler Thanks mate. Just use any clap you want, but the longer the clap sample the better. All i did was put the attack up so it "slid" into the clap.

A lot of people make a big deal about synths used for sounds, but i find the hard part is dynamics. you can have the best synths and sounds but if your compressors are shit, the sound is shit. Is it possible for you to make a vid on recomended compressors, limiters ect. that youd recomend over the stock units? Thank you so much for the help!!!

logic comes with a great drum machine called ultra beat, much easier and quick than this.. although you're the pro so you probably prefer doing that
