This guy was my first Alternator, and still my favorite. This line has it's ups and downs, but him and the Mazdas are the best.

I like Human Alliance, too, for a worthy successor to the line.

I have 4 of the Transformers Alternators. They are Hound, Sideswipe, Bluestreak, and Tracks. I am a huge fan of Transformers.....like everyone else. Anyways, I always like your video reviews for all the Transformers and the different kinds of Transformers as well.

whenever I take a Altenator off the shelf, it's always this guy. He's the easiest one, has great weapon storage & I love the working shocks.

The binaltech arming kits if you can track them down are awesome with bots like Hound and Grimlock. Nice chrome missiles that fit the classic look.

the transformers movies would have been way better, had they been more like the alternators, not scrap yard robots with a few doors on the body

@kookiemon87 the original optimus looked like he was made from a truck, he didnt look like some crappy robot made of junk with a few pieces slapped onto the sides. before the first movie, if you had shown most people pictures of the transformers from it, they wouldnt have guessed they were them, coz they look nothing like every other way they have looked. yes, the new ones look like theyre made of scrap metal. a child could design one that looked more like a real transformer

I had to get rollbar instead, hound was too much online. Same reason I didn't get wheeljack and went for Grimlock. I was working at target at the time they came out originaly. They were an awesome line.

I still need a gun for rollbar as my parents dropped it and vacuumed it up.

I have the alternators Swindle, loved it so much (the wrangler thanks to Jurassic park and the figure) I bout Binaltech Hound. Binaltech does the figure and character justice, don't why but the dia cast just works so well.

If you can, try and nab a binaltech hound, its great, sturdy, won't rust like the real thing and comes in a nice box. And thanks to his review the price may shoot up :D

Always loved this one. I think I enjoyed the Swindle retool even more so, but still, good times. Don't personally recall any add-ons for him, but I'm not the type to buy them anyway so it could've easily slipped past my radar.

I took the head from the Rollbar retool and modded it a bit and popped it on the Ricochet version of the Smokescreen/Silverstreak mold, definately makes it stand out from them. Are there reprolabels to make hound look reasonably g1-ish?
