Im portuguese and my geography teacher showed me and my classmates this movie because it was related to society evolution obstacles and i got to say that at first i was really shocked that she would show ninth graders this when i saw some scenes ,without mentioning the sex scenes i freaked out at the woman dismembering part,not only for the gross sight but because i wasnt expecting to see that in a school movie.Apart from that i frickin loved it for the actors and the story (the fact that all

I'm not saying Forrest didn't deserve the Oscar, 'cause he was brilliant, but James definitely deserved one too. This is one of James' best performances and I think he deserves more recognition for his work in this movie than he got. He's an amazing actor and he sure deserves more!! Also, FINALLY a movie where he speaks his real accent. God I love the scottish accent, and I love you James <3<3

It is a very good movie! Im from Denmark, and my english teacher showed us this movie, because we had about Uganda in school. All the class thougt that it was another boring movie, but it was very good! We loved it.

Forest Whittaker and James McAvoy act of each other brilliantly in this film. Forest is an amazing and well respected actor so to act along side him is a hard gig, but James McAvoy blow me way and he held his own beautiful. (if you havnt watch this film, watch it! its great!) x x

Taking nothing away from Forest Whittaker, I thought James McAvoy was underrated and his equal in this movie. Two great performances.
