I havent gotten anything important from USPS mail since I got my credit card 2 years ago. All I get is junk mail, netflix dvds (which I have cancelled), and bills. But I can get bills emailed to me. I can pay my bills online. The times are changing.

Its technology that is eliminating jobs. You got emails and online services.

Robotics are also replacing human labor. Like cars are made by robotics.

Cashiers are also being replace with machines. Safeways stores have machines where you don't need cashiers.

Soon fastfood like McDonalds, Starbucks, Burger King will install machines and replace cashiers.

Its Machines and Robotics technology replaces human labor.

CBS, The post office wants to close offices that don't make money. However they have to lobby Washington in order to close the offices. So it will not happen until the fed says its Ok. You know the feds they like spending money so don't look for the post offices to close tomarrow. Do your own reserch if you think I'm wrong

This should come as no surprise. The post office is most zealous at 'affirmative action,' being it is gov't and all that. My postman does not even speak English, seriously. All in all it just makes me wonder what will happen if gov't gets their grip on health care, and what has been happening in our school system, etc. Privatization makes more sense. Decisions would be made on what is good business and not political pandering

How about give them the same benefits as someone working in a factory. This would probably handle any monetary problems.
