  • you should do a tutorial similar to this with voiceover explaining what you were currently doing at each step. even though there was no audio, this helped a lot!

  • nice tut )

  • can you give me a link so I can download this and set it as my wallpaper?

please? I am admiring the skill and precision you put into this and, i do love creatures that appear to be from an alternate world but with humanlike personalities, and a slightly comical feel to it. i also love the detail you put into this. if you could be much obliged to show me how you drew this masterpiece, i would be extremely grateful.

  • great, genius job

  • Great painting,I drew a demon and its body is bony and looks similar like yours,But I suck at painting never paint stuff before,Could you make a beginner panting tutorial?

    Thanks.

  • Dude, your videos have helped me out big time, I got a tablet over a year ago and PRIOR I was using the imaging program called gimp, which now im using photoshop which is a lot more complex, i have been learning the ins and outs of PS. So thanks!

  • what kin of brush did u use for the first outline ?

  • @samidj670

in other videos he says he mostly uses a regular circular brush, i use one with faded edges

  • Reminds me of Pans Labyrinth

  • could i do this in photoshop cs3???+Amazing :D

  • @peggyninja

yes, PS CS3 is pretty much my favorite to use, the higher versions take up a lot of memory to use and a lot of resources. I am doing this with ps 7 which is all i have for now, but I'm doing it on there, I believe he uses Ps CS# because the icon looks like it, but later versions look similar, but YES you can do this with PS, he has line art, lays a primer color that will blend well wit hthe greenish color. Id love to see your artwork! I can show you mine! :)

  • could i do this in photoshop cs3???

  • how do you change the colour so fast?

  • well, this dude changes brushes like a street hooker changes panties

  • ur using a tablet arent you

  • wtf is that thing ? AMAZING

  • Good Job!

How do you change the brush color, without click on "colors"??

    Do you can explane?

    Thxx!

  • what that program you were using?

  • very kind! :)

    can i make another question?

how can i modify dimension of brush without right click? while i'm painting....

    (sorry for my english)

  • "Alt" That's the shortcut to the Color Picker. You can select any color that's already in the picture. So hold alt, and click the color you want. This is extremely helpful, especially in keeping the colors and values consistent.

  • eyedropper

  • amazing work :D ....as the brush is configured?

  • whats this programm called?

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • ooo wow,

    the colours blend so well

i really struggle with that =(

  • how did you decide to use brown for a undertone for a white greenish bluish thing? im just learning to color, im fairly good at line art and now im trying to take it further but im not sure how, your tutorials are awesome but im not good enough to use them yet, i used to, and still do, draw on paper and now im doing digital too

  • So you are using the eyedropper a lot, right? I like the pop up that has to be moved.

  • wow that was pants.....lol jus playin.

  • sweeeet

  • One of the very best digital art performances I've seen on YouTube. 5 stars.

  • awesome work...you sure have talent.you make it look so easy ;)

  • what?!?! wheres your voice! i need to hear what your doing!!!!!

also is that just the standard brush at 60% opacity and 40%flow or is it a fancy one you make in brush controls??

if so i want a tutorial of that too haha

  • *beats hand on his chest like a retard"* derrrrr

I understand what hes doing, but if you watch his other videos where he does talk he gives out great information and keeps it entertaining

and I'm not looking for a magic brush, ass! On the standard brush set to his settings leaves a trail of rings behind it and doesn't blend like whats being shown, or maybe it does and I'm not using it right, in witch case the dialog would most likely help with that.

  • @TheFlork It doesn't blend, he's probably using a Tablet which has the pressure thing set on.

  • @TheFlork But the spacing down, you goon.

  • Brushes don't make the artist. But it sure helps to know what he's using. I don't think The Flork requested a magic brush to make him into an artist. Way to look like a child, mirr1. Are you really 34?

  • man, total flashback through my mind of "resident evil" movies.. you got the moves man, ever thought of doing a drawing of "nightcrawler"? peace.

  • thats amazeing dude

    *Bows down to one-vox*

  • Thanks for the tutorial man. It was pretty cool. Cool subject as well.

  • What program did you use to capture this?

  • camtasia

  • o.o good video, shoot it dosnt take half the time to shade with photoshop as with something else. nice job I bow down to your artistic skills.

  • Great to see your work on Youtube, Pete. :)

  • I'm glad you work on a minimal number of layers. I feel motivated to do better in digital mediums with ≤3 layers. :)

  • Damn sweet!

  • This is amazing, seeing the coloring process from step one to the end! Finally! Thank you!

  • Yay, finally!
