i have windows 7 but i think windows vista looks better but windows 7 is a much better opperating system because it is faster and it has more features.

It is strange; my laptop (which I take with me to work everyday and use all of the time) doesn't have many problems with Vista, but my desktop (which I also use everyday) is filled with problems.

probably because people have "some" compatability issues(software,drivers,etc) and they dont have a good enough computer to run it

I laughed when it said gaming - and laughed even harder when it showed a dell computer. Vista is ok, but it's as thoug bill gates said "Alright screw this let's release vista even though its not finished, cos' I'm fuckin' sick of waiting."

I think you could compare Vista to the early versions of OS X. looks pretty compared to everything else, its usable, but it still needs to be tweaked.

yep, vista is pretty sweet, but i think its not completely finished.I mean, i used it about 6 months, but then i got back to xp on both my machines. I'll w8 until SP2 comes out. Its not completely ready yet. Oh i see angry reply-s on my coments saying vista sux, adn im a fanboy. Well im not a fanboy to any OS, im saying that vista is fine, but ill just w8 until SP2, i want to be more secure.

i dont think there'll ever be SP2 for vista since windows 7 is ready to take over . but i think vista run pretty stable for now , i mean, im running on ultimate x64 and i have been using it for more than 1 years and i have not yet to experience any discomfort using it . yes , it takes a decent pc to run vista but so does xp when it first came out so stop bitching about how it eat up resourses . it's much safer than XP . period. windows is better than vista btw ^^ .

naah, they'll probably come up with something. And windows 7 is based on vista, so they are building another shit, on top of another shit! They had to start over, going back to xp, and then, they can make something better

seriously ? have you ever try windows 7 ? if so , have you actually try it for REAL ? or just glance at it and call it shit .let me tell you something , windows 7 runs better and safer and even faster on something as cheap as an 300$ acer . XP was based on windows ME , and vista is another messed up , like ME .sure enough , windows 7 is gonna be the new XP .

Duuh. I did... Its nice, its lite, but there still are traces left of vista. And by the time i posted that comment, they hadnt wrewrote the explorer.exe and the shell. Its not bad, but the drivers still arent very compatable. The most things i got to work with windows 7, were on my Pc, where only the sound driver didn't match. Everything else was fine. SO idk if its going to run on that kind of PC, the cheap acer, but idk... just my oppinion. I'll w8 for the final version.

I can play numerous games just fine, there hasn't been a glitch yet. 3-D or not 3-D, everything works fine.
