her style of play is a bit similar to Dementieva (both have strong forehand and backhand, and superb athleticism and physical fitness), but with a better serve and a bit more variety. Dementieva was the one I loved most. After her retirement, I love Azarenka the most.

I remember a few years ago it was bound that Vika would win a grandslam and be number 1. Everyone knew it was going to happen but it was a matter of her maturity and how she can handle her emotions, since last year she's been a different person. So happy to see her winning and being number 1 now.

If you watched it live, the commentators even said "It's like Maria is playing a better version of herself" and "Victoria showing that she has more variety"
