I don't know why you need to know sooooo much when you wan't to be sniper? My father is a hunter,and he took me in hunt with him. When I was 6,I killed my first boar. With scoped M48 on 300 metres,I also know to shoot very accurate without scope. With BB gun and airgun I can shot almost every moving target. One i killed running fox 80 metres from me. So,why do you need do much training for sniper?

Camouflage, Fieldcraft, infiltration, reconnaissance and observation.

And snipers aren't always used as "shooters". They're much used as observation in an enemy area, to keep the other ground groups safe, or to observ any enemey movements in an area. = Used as spotters for the DELTA forces, Rangers you name it (ground forces). And you learn how to use every caliber, in every situation.
