@musicisnotharaam then you don't understood te quran. In qurah luqman, aya 6 is it mentioned. And YES, you also have to read the tafsier of this aya which is explained by some ahadith.

Just the same as Allah S.W.T allows haraam products such as beer or pork to flow down your throat to test whether as a servant of Allah S.W.T , listens and stay away from those who are haraam .

The question is neither nor Why did Muhammed said that Music Is haram?if so! nor why is it prohibited? If Naik says duff is allowed,then how come it is halal(allowed) whereas it is also made by man?was it just because it is told by muhammed?then you must also explain why did muhammed says that!were looking for Logical reason why instruments are haram!everything should have reason!this simple things are very hard for Naik to defend!

music is of two types: 1# which will stray away u from right path r take u towards prohibited things! u know well

2# which will not harmful to your faith and your mind or thinking!

Now choose your own music for your self after all ALLAH gives us freedom of thought, decision and action.........observe the things and make your way rather to walk on other's assigned path except PROPHET (S'A'W'W) ...... do not count mistakes of others rather to note down your own...

Zakir should take a review on this, No scholar of Music will say Music is Bad, for it is already there! consider the Piano, is the creation of Piano bad? the notes are already existed before Piano was created,man has low voice like of alto women children has high pitch which of Soprano!the sounds of low sound in nature is found even lower than the notes of lowest bass guitar or piano,chirping of birds are higher even than the high notes of Piano,& mostly SALAH HAS NOTES thatb is found in PIANO.

Music is one of the most beautiful things on this earth and im now talking about rap or hip-hip which i dont concider music at all, Im talking about classical, naturalist, native american flutes. As a man who was a very religous muslim in my youth, it seems to me that anything, ANYTHING that gives you the smallest amount of enjoyment in your life that takes you away for jus a few seconds in this very hard life we have on this earth, will send you straight to hell. @JimWAllan Astaghfirullah how can you say that Hadeeth is false? HOw many times has Allah said in the Qur'an : "Atee'o Allaah WA RASOOLOH..." Which means follow Allah and HIS MESSENGER. Anyone who slanders the prophet is committing a great sin!
