I was in 2nd bn 6th marines motor pool from 2001 - 2004 and knew Jared. I worked in the tool room, and every time he came down to do preventative maintenance on vehicles I was usually one of the first people to greet him. His smile never left his face. He never had anything bad to say. He was a good friend. I still can not believe he's gone. I assure everyone who reads this, he will never be forgotten. And for everyone who has negativity to spread, PLEASE do it elsewhere.
don't know why its necisarry to comment nastey things on such a sad video. Respect goes out to this man, and may his family get through his death with ease. I'm sorry that "Jared Kremm" died for Oil, and peace in a country like Iraq will never be wathered, they are insane. This is only one of many of the losses in Iraq, RIP
"My friends, I will have an energy policy that we will be talking about, which will eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East that will prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East," McCain said. K THANKYOU
obviously there is a mom left in sorow, jus cos her son been misguided,he killed n got killed,1 mom in tears, while there is since this war has begun 600000 civilian dead wich is equal to 600000 mothers,600000 fathers, broters, sisters, sons, daugthers ,cousins, auntis, uncles ect it,s about at less 3600000 left in sorow,in tears, dey haven signed for dis war, so i ask every 1 of u where is ur unjustice gonna stop, dos not iraqis lifes as precious as ur sons lifes???
i wish you were dead . You should come over to Iraq and try to kill me. I promice I will make it worth your while . I dip my bullets in pigs blood just for you animals
shove your politics up your ass. this is a man's life, not a political tool. and that goes for BOTH sides. we don't want to be your fucking political chess pieces. find another video for that
My comment was a reply to someone else's, not my politics. Sorry to have rattled your cage...I have 3 family members in this mess, so I am completely sympathetic to the family here.
(I don't know why, but sometimes replies end up looking like replies, other times, they look like they are independent statements.)
What I commented is less political than an observation as a human being, anyway. To date, there have been 4,114+ families that have faced this heartbreak.
*The comment that I replied to was from OZ2YOU, see page 2.*
For the record, I gave thumbs up to all the replies that supported the family. I just felt compelled to reply directly to that particular one, like you (imstillalive0331)did mine. It is too bad that it could be read in such a negative light, but then again, I have run across some very assumptive characters here at YouTube.
Good that you are still alive & able to make your opinions known, too. Many died to insure that freedom.
and sorry for the misguided attack. its just that every one of these last letter videos is loaded with the same political nonsense that we as fighting men don't care that much about after we evac a friend. right or wrong, they have still given their lives for us
Again, my condolences for you & your fellow servicepeople...I understand that you are all on a mission, agree or disagree, you have your orders. I have to say, whether I agree with my gov't or not as a civilian, I feel a deep debt to those that fight (& have fought in the past) & I support them, pray for them, cry when I hear another is coming home to have final goodbyes said...War is awful, no two ways about it. You have my respect. Pass it along to all your friends...We haven't forgotten you.
Peace to you...and I am sorry that you personally know so many that have been directly affected by this. We have been fortunate...my BIL has been to Fallujah, Baghdad, and other cities disabling IED's...We feel blessed he is alive to do the job he has been doing for so long now. Sister is on an aircraft carrier and brother is a detailer with over 20 years active duty.
My dad was a police officer in a major city, too...I have always been defensive about that job, so I understand. Completely.
fuck you. don't drag the lives of my friends into your political battleground. you don't know shit, you haven't seen shit, and you disgrace the memory of this man who, whether right or wrong, fought for his country and sacrificed himself to defend it. take your political bullshit to another video. and thats coming from everybody in my barracks room with me
How I feel for your family to have lost this wonderful, handsome, brave young man. I can't imagine the terrible, unbearable grief you must feel but just remember that you will meet again someday in heaven.
we have to end this war. I don't even believe bush knows why we are fighting any more. I guess he will never feel bad, as long as no one in his family dies in war.
The problem is the US and UK should never have been there in the first place really however they can't retreat now they've left the place in such a state of dissaray.
Lose the politics people. Do you really think that woman gives a shit at this point? Argue somewhere and pay your respects here

does it matter? the point is he died unnecessarily fighting in a war that shouldnt have been started. May he rest in peace.

the war was totally necessary. You liked killing people in Saddams empire? Do you know, what came after last trying about appeacement ( 1930´s )???
Srbic 3 years ago
why are yo trying to turn a video in memory of someone who died fighting for their country into a political debate? Have some respect.

It's a shame he had to die in this mess of a war.

Unfortunately, I think the equation looks more like this:
HUMAN LIFE < OIL and POLITICAL PRIDE
