rabbitpiano, my guess would be that her tempi were erratic during the Carl Vine, and the composer emphasized on the importance of a strict adherence to his tempi markings at the beginning of the score.
rachel kudo is an immense talent. the cliburn competition is notorious for its inability to select the right winner. have faith naomi and be thankful you weren't donned with the kiss of death as a cliburn winner!
Kudo, one of two 2008 Gilmore Young Artist award recipients (the other is Adam Golka), changed her professional name from Rachel Kudo -- or Rachel Naomi Kudo, which she also has used -- to Naomi Kudo this winter.(Quote from- Call her Naomi: Gilmore Young Artist Kudo makes some changes

it seems to me that those who elected to use the american steinway had much clearer sonorities and didn't sound "bangy"
utubuser10 2 years ago 7
she IS using an american steinway, albeit an unusually bright one

i know.

@utubuser10 i agree... probably because american steinways are warmer. hamburg steinways are so much more difficult to play.

...Cause Mrs Mariangela Vacatello is the best, and she will be the winner,I hope...

Vacatello? One of my favorites, but Bozhanov and Di Wu outshine her, sadly.
