A final and eternal end to sin and death. Jude 1:7 refers to Sodom and Gomorrha as being....."set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire"....is Sodom and Gomorrha still burning today? No. 1 Peter 2:6 says they were turned to ashes. Ecc. 9:5 .....the dead know not anything....

Rev. 20:14, 15, calls it the second death. God is loving, He doesn't want to torture those who have fallen to sin, but rather to put a final end to it. The prophets and and apostles and Jesus made anti-Judaism comments numerous times. See Matthew 23 for example. When church systems today sin and violate God's will, they are just as guilty as was Israel. God cannot condone that. Compare the Catholic position on traditions as equal & above the Bible with Mark 7:5-13. Who do you trust more, Jesus or the pope?
