@gaisar80 Although this album was highly influenced by Mexican music, that doesn't mean this music wouldn't exist without it. The band alone is influenced by traditional Slavic, French, and yes Mexican music . But to say that this "music", in general, wouldn't exist without Mexico, I doubt it.

i see where you're coming from, but i feel like mexico brings a unique sound to the table. the obviously would have gone a different route given if they were in spain, bosnia, france, ect.

Obviously it would sound like another kind of music, don't you think? (Slavic, French etc). Each country has their own regional dances and traditional sounds and different feelings to play music that differ from other world regions. I'd like to think that this music is like ¨music with bits of other places.¨
