NFS Shift and Grid are great simulators, the same level as Forza.

Playing with a simple steering wheel, the 3 games physics looks preety real.

@19DaRiO95 I use a XBox Wireless Wheel, its an awesome wheel. Porsche 911 looks much better, but i don't know its price. Any of the options will be great to you, i'm sure it will make a huge difference in the gameplay.

If Forza 3 had the same camera effects from NFS Shift and the same Championship System from GRID, it would be the best racing game ever made, but, it stills the same game than Forza 1..... No evolution at all, just graphics... Racing games are dying

@erwinclaus Forza Needed to keep Forza 1's style. Forza 2 was boner kill with the menues etc. I dont have forza 3 yet but i hope they brought back the afer market lights. And forza 3 has somewhat improved physics.

@erwinclaus Dude, they've "touched" the physics. The tires deform and bend , in forza 2&1 they only deformed ina shitty fashion, you can roll over, damage models are still shit though, better way of tuning such as if you want to slide a little tune with the shocks and tire tampering will do it fine, such as forza 2 it required the right setup and some positive/negative cambers. Forza 3 has had one hell of a physics update since forza 2 bud.GT will just stay as Gran Turismo 2 though physics wise.

Gran Turismo is completly dead, and maybe because of this, M$ is not investing in a battle that they already won. Like i said before, if they just touch physics, we are screwed...

You could buy Forza 3, but GT5 will be coming out for your PS3, lord knows when, but when it does it will be awesome. You should be grateful to own the PS3, it's a very high quality product. I have had 2 360s dies on me. I just said F#$k it and didn't bother getting fixed. I've had my PS3 for as long as my 360 and no issues yet. Both systems are good, but F3 isn't worth buying an entirely new console, but that's just me.
