see, he ended up getting hit by a car at low speed so he wasnt fucked up really, just rolled over and off the hood. grabbed his bike and took off. little while later, got a BUI which I guess is biking under the influence ticket but was somehow allowed to continue riding home. stupid boulder cops.

The other day, riding back to my dorm after dinner/bar (2 frozen drinks and three beers), I rode my $700 road bike off the sidewalk and onto the road, forgetting that there was a foot-and-a-half drop off between the two. Wiped out and ended up with a wobbly rim, so I had to disconnect the front brake in order to ride the bike back to my dorm.

Well, the guy at the bike shop couldn't straiten it back up, so now I am out 90 bucks for a new front rim. Could have been a lot worse, LOL!
