  • do you have to do traing to get this job?

  • my dad drives a front end loader for allied waste in navarre florida and i'm prbably gonna be driving one of those automative trucks and i wanted to know how the levers worked on that thing thanks man for showing

  • Your truck has a steering wheel on each side?

  • yes

  • heil bin

  • I think were getting these trucks in Toronto, they are going to charge us based on the size of the bin, I beleive these trucks can pick up 3 sizes of cans. NIce neighborhood in the video!

  • How do they know that the arm is lined up to the bin? are there markings on the pavement for the driver to see?

  • no markings, just use judgement when ya think its lined up and grab and dump.

  • The chirping of the turnsignals doesnt sound as annoying like those of the Macks... But I guess anything can get annoying when you work around it all day. Great vid.

  • Yeah, its the flashers. Got to deal with them. After a while, it seems like you dont hear unless you listen for them.

  • haha...yeah, I have to look for my light to make sure they're goin! lol. Then again, I usually have my stereo up so loud in my truck, that might be why I can't hear them...

  • What is that gdo-awful chirping? Is it your turn signal/hazard flasher noise?

Also love the high-pitched sound of the brakes.

  • whst comp do u wrk 4?

i like the claw on that truck

  • city of Greensboro N.C. Thanks, we call them grabbers

  • nice truck

  • Awesome video! Great view from te inside of the cab! Can't wait to see more!!

  • Are you picking us trash, recycling, or yard waste?

  • I'm dumping the greens cans, which are garbage. The brown can are co-mingle recycle. We also have yardwaste and bulk trucks that service same area on collection day. josh

  • Great video!

Do your trucks use a monitoring system to see what is going into the hopper?

ASL's always scare me because of this. How do you know some animal or a child is not in there?

  • Thanks, no cameras on these older style trucks. Our new labrie trucks have back-up and hopper cams. Eventally all of our trucks will them as we phase into them. josh
