  • Neanderthal choir... haha

  • negros, aaaaaaaa. same shit. primitivos.

  • negros, aaaaaaaa. same shit.

  • like we say in french big rought and tought but dum, frale and small but agile and imaginatif intellect(nerds) that thing resonnate into my mind and it is how i see the difference between them(homosapience and neanderthals ) is like the neanderthals are the product of home robustus and homo sapience is a product from a more gracile branch of homo how the difference but at the end we are totally a separate species

  • @khasab True. However, evidence tells us that Neanderthals were more intelligent than African Homo erectus and even early Homo sapiens. The tools and weaponry of the Neanderthals were more advanced and they were the first hominids to bury their dead. It was during the thousands and thousands of years afterward that Homo sapiens caught up to the intelligence level of Neanderthals.

  • @boomboom298 I'm afraid none of your facts are true,

  • @khasab Archaeological evidence points to all my facts being just that - facts. Neanderthals were more advanced than the first Homo sapiens and certainly more than Homo erectus. It's just that Homo sapiens advanced faster and further (obviously) afterward. Not only were Neanderthals the first to bury their dead, but they also had forms art, music and medicine. Do some research on the matter before making a simple, unsubstantiated claim like you just did.

  • @boomboom298 you assume I haven't done research. If you had done your's you would be aware that homo neanderthal was around long before homo sapien sapien -modern man. it wasn't a question of 'catching up'. They buried their dead earlier because homo sapien sapien wasn't around not because they hadn't thought of the idea. You would also know that the name is ' Homo sapiens neandertalensis'

  • @khasab In your first reply to me, you said none of my facts were true, but now you are admitting that I was right about Neandertahls being the first to bury their dead? Make up your mind. And yes, Neanderthals were more advanced than Homo erectus and the first Homo sapiens. Argue against the archaeological evidence if you want.

  • @boomboom298 I think I'll leave it at that, thanks, as you seem to be a tad thick and clearly didn't understand my last post .

  • @khasab Since the facts are clearly on my side, I'll just say I'm fine with leaving things as they currently stand here, too.

  • @boomboom298 we're in agreement then. It's not my job to enlighten the misinformed

  • @khasab Yes, we are in agreement. I have the facts and you have your failed troll attempts.

  • @boomboom298 you really are the most laughable little nincompoop, aren't you?

  • @khasab Shoo! Go away, you stupid little troll. Take your mental beating and go back to playing your World of Warcraft.

  • @boomboom298 Listen shit for brains the only thing you could beat mentally would be unicellular and live on the bottom of a pond, Now look up a timeline on the development of Man, wipe your nose and stop sending me messages!

  • @khasab My, you're a persistent, pestilent piece of shit, aren't you? The archaeological evidence concurrent with the evolutionary timeline shows matter of factly that what I said was true. The fact that you would even try to argue against such evidence tells me you are either an attention seeking troll or that you took a few too many bumps to the head while not wearing your special little helmet.

You started sending me messages first, dipshit! Don't cry when I respond to combat your trolling.

  • @boomboom298 I suppose I should feel sorry for you,

  • @khasab You're supposing you should feel a certain way? Wow! You got proven wrong and humiliated on one Youtube comment board and now you can no longer commit with your feelings. I really messed you up more than I thought. Go ahead and do feel sorry for me...for being burdened with the thought of having mentally squashed another human being so badly that his future decision making process will forever be impaired.

  • @boomboom298 yawn

  • @khasab Go to bed, sleepy head. You don't want to miss your short bus tomorrow morning.

  • @boomboom298 i wonder how long I can keep you making vacuous comments?

  • @boomboom298 keep it coming boom boom "give'em enough rope..." what are you're intellectual credentials? What University did you study at? What did you study there? Let's here why you think you know what you're talking about.

  • biger brains don't mean more intelligent brains

  • @khasab

Yes, but there is a correlation.

  • @smoothbanana well actually no there isn't, That's the point.

  • @khasab

Let me rephrase: bigger brains mean an increased capacity, which facilitates higher intellgence. Please explain if you think I am wrong :)

  • @smoothbanana The thing is that many other factors are more important than size such as the structure of the brain. The development of certain types of brain cells, specially a part of the brain called the neo cortex.

  • @khasab

I understand that, but wouldn't you think that having more room would make such development easier? An analogy would be that of height and skeletal muscle. Being physically big doesn't automatically make you stronger than the smaller guy; one has to take into account muscle density as well as muscle cell size, not to mention neuromuscular efficiency. However, someone who has a larger framework, all things being equal, will definitely have the greatest potential for strength.

  • how did they get neanderthal dna?

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA Samples from a couple different cave burials. It's was pretty badly degraded and heavily contaminated from other sources. It takes a lot of time to put it all together to make a coherent whole. I should still have the link to the paper somewhere around here.

  • @NorthForkFisherman THNX! I'd really like to have that.. Do you think you could send it to me?? I'll message you my school email if you would..

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA Already done. Check your inbox.

  • I think that humans didn't evolve and are therefore weaker than neanderthals

  • One thing i do not understand is that a lot of africans have elongated heads like neanderthals, have wide noses like neanderthals and low lower brows like neanderthals, so a lot of this theory is probably incoorect i believe humans were probably constantly moving around earth neanderthals moving back to africa maybe?

  • @Cozzi0: No, wrong. The things you mention are well within the genetic diversity of either species.

  • Ed Green said, what has been neglected in the past is gene flow between Neanderthal and humans. Mendel was ignored for 50 years. Barbara McClintock was ignored for at least 30 years when she said there might be important function in junk DNA. Wikipedia also says that this paradigm set us back. When we add in Neanderthal. Its possible evolutionary science has set us back 100 years, & since that vast majority of scientist could still do great work without ever hearing about the modern synthesis.

  • @benthemiester: I doubt I've ever seen such wildly reversed logic. Not a very good analysis of what Green says; he needs the genome, not the loss of it, but happily, he has it now. The very paper that tells of it also tells about finding Neandertal DNA in H sapiens genetics. The problem in each of these cases is that genetics wasn't known until lately, not that we now have it. Dr. McClintock could hardly site "important function in junk DNA", as it was only discovered in the 90s.

  • @puncheex Barbera McClintock was the first to discover transposons. She won a Nobel prize for it in 83. She was the first to propose a non gene centric view and it is only in the last few years that she has been redeemed. She writes about having to go up against a wall of ignorance in the scientific community. That same wall seems to be alive and well even today. Anyone who questions the orthodox view must be silenced!

  • @puncheex "The problem in each of these cases is that genetics wasn't known until lately"

Your actually making my point for me.

Mendel knew of genetics and he was ignored for fifty years. Your using reverse logic.

  • awesome

  • I mean we see these differences in moder humans though, alot of africans have wide noses, alot of arabs have large noses, how do they know for sure these arent just cases of just differneces in appearance, like we have today!

  • @EternalGreen2012 "africans have wide noses"

True, but take a look at the overall skull shape & its contures and you'll see there are distinct differences between Neanderthals & Sapiens.

"how do they know for sure "

B/c they tested their DNA & they're not homo sapiens.

  • @EternalGreen2012

To ad to AgentOrange20's point, Neanderthal noses weren't "wide" they far exceeded proportion to their faces. their noses where very large because Europe and the Northern Middle East where trapped in mile thick ice making the air very cold, and harder to breath. Their noses allowed them to inhale more oxygen for their circulation.

  • @EternalGreen2012: In a strict sense they don't know, as the final test is in the biological testing that is impossible to do now. That is why there is argument about whether they are H. neandertalensis, or H. sapiens neandertalensis. But study of the skeleton material leads to conclusions that are much deeper than just the face and stature; differences in food intake, temperature control, speech capabilities and so on.

  • GoodScienceForYou 's forum is a great place to visit if you want to laugh at his 'science' and see comments like:-

-Diamond are no longer carbon, they are diamonds.

-Photosynthesis is a carbon digesting process.

-The cause of sickle cell anemia is unknown, dumb ass.

-Carbon is the only thing that makes us "carbon" based creatures

-There is no answer for the diversity of life. It just is.

-There are only two species of bacteria.

Anyone think they can learn anything from this clown?

  • @KrokrX: I agree. I found nothing useful there except for predatory behavior by him and his toadies.

  • GSFY - in reality you're quite an impressive failure - failed high-school, failed husband(3 times), failed salesman, failed businessman, failed astrologer, failed guru, failed embezzler, failed forum host .... and in a few weeks your repossessed home will be sold at auction. No-one here's buying your simple-minded nonsense and lies, and yes, I am still laughing at you Jimmy!

  • @GoodScienceForYou "I have not failed at anything".

" I have always done the ethical thing in all endeavors". Tell that to Erik Selberg. Tell that to John, whom you screwed out of his "investment" in your business. There is a court ruling in his favor; you know, the type of thing where EVIDENCE is presented and a ruling is made based upon it.

p.s. you are not only unethical you are stupid. You threaten to tell KrokrX's parents? HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • @AlanCFA - I like the way GSFY lies so transparently; he says 'In the past I have sent all of the communications from shit heads like you to their employers and they lost their jobs', but Erik was still at Microsoft years after GSFY claimed he got him fired!! You're right, GSFY is not only unethical but downright stupid.

  • @KrokrX - Jimmy and his delusions of grandeur! He is an impotent old fool who is trying to find a sense of power in his failed life so he invents a high IQ, makes pretenses of erudition in science, claims an ability to "get even" with all of his enemies, etc. He really is pathetic.

I will be visiting John this weekend. That should be far more enjoyable than talking to his delusional and emotionally immature younger brother.

  • @AlanCFA - GSFY claims to have 'no religion' yet talks about 'Lord God Jehovah' and being an 'honest Christian', claims not to be a creationist yet his last 5 uploads are standard creationist propaganda pieces, claims an 'IQ over 180' yet often has difficulty forming meaningful sentences and using basic logic, claims to 'have been a scientist for over 45 years' yet is a failed hot-tub salesman..... the list goes on!! It's hard to decide if one should laugh or simply feel sorry for this clown.

  • @KrokrX when in doubt... Do both..

  • @SHIBBYiPANDA - I do - I feel sorry for him because of his upbringing, it can't have been easy having been brought up by alcoholics, his parents split must have been traumatic, and his time with the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Siddha Yoga cult(17yrs) certainly hasn't helped. However, his continual dishonesty and bullying behaviour are all his own, he's a really unpleasant little man, but his idiocies are just so funny you can't help laughing!

  • @GoodScienceForYou - bs. Erik stayed with Microsoft many years after your encounter. You never sent anything to them or they ignored you. Don't try and pretend that you waited years before sending the stuff in. Also, he still has his blog post about the transaction with you - he would hardly do that if he were worried about it costing him his job. You are a sleaze.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "I , like all humans, am weak and stupid" That is true about you for sure.

"With an IQ of over 180..." There are your delusions of grandeur again.

  • @GoodScienceForYou Are You an Atheist, Agnostic or a Believer?

  • @seanbear22 - he does not have the courage to give you a straight answer to that question.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "I practice detachment..." You are pretty detached, alright. "...objective awareness of myself... " So you are aware that you are a liar, that you lied about the contents of your fossil dating video and you lied about the contents of your fusion of chromosome #2 video, yet you continue to lie anyway. What good is your objective awareness when you act in a dishonest and unethical manner?

  • GSFY - you say 'I practice detachment' - well from all the evidence it looks like you've successfully detached from reality about as far as it's possible - well done Jimmy!! The nearest you've got to being a yogi is dressing up in a bear costume at a party, although given your history you seem more like a natural Boo-boo than Yogi bear!!

  • GSFY - you're so funny Jimmy, and in a class of your own when it comes to deluded ranting - congratulations on at last finding something you're moderately good at after a lifetime of failure!! You really should seek professional help with your inherited mental problems and take the medications they offer, it's the only way you'll ever re-connect with reality - until then we'll keep on laughing at you.

  • GSFY - your endless drivel and transparent lies are a source of many laughs, and it makes no difference if you can see that or not Jimmy. In the same way it makes no difference if you don't want to see the evidence for evolution, it's still a fact regardless of how uncomfortable that makes your religious views. Let's be honest, you're an irrelevance, a sad little man living in his delusional world where he can try to feel important, but that's not reality.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "You are stalking me because you are a loser in this battle." You are a moron and you know it - your pretense to knowledge is laughable.

"The truth is always the best thing to seek" Then why do you lie so much?

"I have never needed any medication for much of anything in my life" You are a delusional psychotic.

"This is my fifth and concurrent with the fourth successful business" HAHAHAHA!!! You have liens on your property because you are so successful.

  • @GoodScienceForYou I want you to produce absolutely irrefutable evidence for God. If you cannot, you are delusional by YOUR logic.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "My God is the Truth" that is a LIE. You wrote: "John thinks that because I believe in God that I am insane" You would not have used the word "God" if your God were "Truth"; there already is a word for truth, which is, "truth".

You DO believe in the traditional concept of God and you know it. YOU wrote "we are honest Christians who believe in God and believe in what is taught".

Moreover, you LIE continually on YouTube, so for you to claim that your God is truth is rubbish

  • @GoodScienceForYou "Lies are common as you are a liar" Since you invent so many new definitions for words, I will inform you that to be a liar, one needs to make statements that they know to be false. If you want to claim that I am a liar, show a statement that I made that I knew was false. I think that you are a creationist and I have good evidence for it. If I were wrong, that would not be a lie because I believe it to be true.

You, on the other hand, DO tell lies. Continually.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "I am detached enough to keep other people from brainwashing me." You are detached from reality.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "When you have the courage to answer my question "

You never show courage. Where is your absolute evidence for the existence of God? I mean the god in which you believe, not your LIE about God=Truth.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "All Beliefs are not real. The nature of humans is to need to believe for emotional (very weak) reasons of survival" So the belief that the valence electron carries the current in an electric circuit is not real and therefore the theory of electricity can be discarded? There is not absolute, irrefutable proof of this, so we should scrap all of what we know about electricity because we "assume" a portion that matches up with experiments but is not absolutely proven?

  • So I'm confused now....I just watched a video saying that Neanderthals had High pitched voices and this dudes saying they had very deep voices...which is it?

  • Satan's hungry. The others ate charcoal.

  • I think farming killed them or trying to enslave Africa, and I think they were, as apex predators, meaning that they had to have maintained their environments, better at feeling and interacting with their environment and had a more perfect mating pattern than humans that just spit 'em out. Deep redheads, often represented dominant blonde, would be my guess. I'm sure there would be some if some ass wouldn't have gone around killing all the witches. I'm sure there's some left.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "we do not have any evidence of magical spits to genomes that cause new creatures"

A magical spit...what the fuck is that?

  • @GoodScienceForYou "It is called "The Theory Of Evolution".

    Yup, 1 point.

"Magical genetic lineage spits and magical processes that never have occurred"

What's a magical genetic lineage 'spits', do you mean splits?

  • @GSFY "ABSOLUTELY NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF THIS ON THIS PLANET." Yes there is, and lots of it. ERV's, the fossil record, DNA, morphology, and the predictive power of evolutionary theory. You simply deny the evidence for religious reasons and claim that your denial is some kind of valid science. It isn't - it's crap.

" I have studied this for over 42 years..." Then you are a very slow learner because with only a few months of study, the average 12-year old knows much more than you...

  • @GSFY - "Every single premise of this Evodelusion bullshit is easily refutable by other far more plausible answers." So what is a far more plausible theory than theory of evolution to that predicted the existence and location of tiktaalik? What other theory said that such a creature existed and in what strata and where in the world it was located?

You know nothing about science and you are the IDIOT who thinks that Newton and Einstein "fucked up" science.

p.s. YOU are the one with a religion

  • @GoodScienceForYou " 'mutations' (that are not even changes to the DNA structures of the species) " a few weeks ago, you claimed that there were changes to DNA but since we did not know what caused them, you would not call them mutations. Now you say that mutations are not changes to DNA structure. You cannot keep your gibberish straight for two weeks.

  • @GoodScienceForYou LMFAO!!! Since when do you have a problem with magic and mysticism!? Your whole belief system is based on it... !!!

  • @GoodScienceForYou OK... maybe I was a little rash with my comment. Lets make sure we understand each othere here. So, could you please tell me, what does the actual irrefutable evidence show us? If the evidence does not support evolution then what alternative theory does is suggest, if any?

  • @GoodScienceForYou This idea that evolution or creation are in evidence is bullshit." Yet all of your arguments (except gorillas and humans mating) are creationist arguments.

You are also the idiot who claimed that Newton and Einstein "fucked up" science. That alone makes you an idiot.

  • @GoodScienceForYou So what are you saying? The evidence does not support evolution, or creation, or anything? It must suggest something. If you have an alternative theory to explain the variation of life I would love to hear it. Seriously.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "All we have is the indication of genetic lineages that are passed down and no transformations into new genus ..."

Actually, you are wrong - we do have such evidence. You deny the evidence for religious reasons.

Chickens gaining teeth are consistent with the Theory of Evolution. They are not consistent with your bullshit creationist hypotheses.

  • @GSFY "It is not consistent with any evolution, because it is consistent with survival of the creature AS THE SAME CREATURE" A chicken with teeth is a different creature. How many changes would it take for you to say a creature is not the same creature?. The TOE predicts genes can get switched off and sometimes back on. This is consistent with the TOE.

"There is no evolution programmed into the genetic structures of any creature. "

Correct - that is what the Theory of Evolution states!

  • @GoodScienceForYou Ok... I'm willing to except for the moment that the evidence does not support evolution - but what does that achieve if you have no alternative? What are you asking people to do? Wait until we find new, irrefutable evidence explaining the variation of life? ...and what should we do until this new evidence is found?

  • @seanbear22 - Examples of GSFY's 'science' knowledge, taken from his oft touted forum -

It just is

-There are only two species of bacteria.

Anyone think they can learn anything from this clown? GSFY is the joke that never disappoints!

  • @GoodScienceForYou ... so what HAS been proven? what can I learn?

  • @seanbear22 - If you're thinking of visiting GSFY's forum to have a good laugh at his inanities - make sure your virus/trojan protection is up to date - mask your IP using a proxy server (or software) as he makes threats to contact people's work, parents and relatives(he's not bright enough to do this but he may know people who can) – and, if you really must post, use a temporary email address – then enjoy the crazy world of GSFY!!

  • @GoodScienceForYou - are you going to be doing anything interesting in Colorado on October 20th, or will you still be in Holland?

  • @GoodScienceForYou "Neanderthals are most likely the result of interbreeding, not magic. Chimps are most likely the result of interbreeding with Humans and some other primate, as this actually follows ALL of the evidence we can verify on both Chimps and Humans. "

Yet you invented the gorilla-human mating hypothesis in response to the proof of the fusion of chromosome #2. You claimed the fusion NEVER happened. When you saw proof that it did, you invented this crap to try and deny evolution.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "The facts are we understand genetics and interbreeding, "

The facts are that you invented your gorilla-human mating hypothesis when you were shown evidence that human chromosome #2 DID fuse even though you said that it did NOT fuse. You also LIED and claimed that you always accepted the fusion but only questioned the timing. Bullshit. You said that it NEVER happened and you invented your interbreeding hypothesis to save face. You are an egomaniac, a liar, and a coward.

  • @GSFY - please tell me what I have taken out of context.

Was it the fused chrom#2 video where you stated EMPHATICALLY that the fusion NEVER happened and later contradicted that and LIED, saying that you always accepted the fact, but not the timing?

Or was it when you said that some idiot "fucked up" science by changing the law of gravity into a theory? The two idiots were Newton and Einstein, which you did not know at the time since you know nothing

Or was something else taken out of context?

  • GSFY - your forum is good for a laugh - most people would never imagine even a creationist could be so stupid! You claim that humans mated with gorillas to produce chimps, and humans mated with chimps to produce Neanderthals, and all less than 4K years ago(500years after the building of the pyramids)! You're an uneducated clown Jimmy and should stay on creationist channels where they may be dumb enough to swallow your nonsense.

  • GSFY - you've come up with diddly squat! Thus far you've shown NO evidence for your silly notion about humans, gorillas, chimps and Neanderthals - I've asked you many times to highlight any DNA sequences or ERV insertion patterns that MIGHT support your inanity, and each time you've run away. You're simply a deluded creationist who thinks his Yoga experience qualifies him to talk on science - it doesn't. Please seek professional help and take the medication.

  • @KrokrX quite sad isn't it? poor old man resorted to created a forum he controls, what a joke. I had to take a look, it's nuttier than squirrel shit, it mostly consisted of his continual endless rants mostly to & from himself. I think GSFY is not chemically balanced ; )

  • @agentorange20 - your description of GSFY's forum as 'it's nuttier than squirrel shit' is far too generous to him. Even funnier is all the posts he's deleted/edited and people he's banned and he still gets his arse handed to him on many threads!! He is good entertainment in a strange kind of way!

  • @GoodScienceForYou

"Not one single PHD in genetics can refute my hypothesis, because it follows the evidence exactly". Oy. Again your delusions of grandeur have compelled you to type crap at the keyboard. Your hypothesis does not fit the evidence - humans and gorillas would not produce fertile offspring; they are different species. That refutes your hypothesis.

Too bad that Swami Muktananda is not longer with us - you could get together with him and meditate until your delusions subside.

  • @GoodScienceForYou "IRREFUTABLE hypothesis that destroy this idea of common ancestor for humans"

Um, a hypothesis is determined as continually being a 'work in process' in which the said hypothesis still undergoes rigorous testing & scrutiny, until demonstrably shown. Since your claimed hypothesis is still in this very early trial testing stage, you have all your work ahead of you as you need to have other peers test it also & show that it's the most consistent w/ the rest of the evidence.

  • GSFY - 'You are a fraud' - but YOU lost a court case for embezzlement Jimmy, to the tune of $53,703!!

We've asked you many times to point to specific DNA sequences or ERV insertion patterns that support your notion rather than the common ancestor, and each time you duck and run - you know nothing about genetics despite your laughable claims. Why don't you make a video about your interbreeding notion, I'm sure we could all do with a good laugh and it'd be a shoo-in for a Golden Crocoduck.

  • Comment removed

  • @GoodScienceForYou your forum is ancient history.

  • Neanderthals were already in their "classic form" in europe 60 thousand years ago. At the same time the new boys from from the east came over and out competed them for food.

Also about 60 thousand years ago a fossil hominid from Mungo Australia also shared different dna yet clearly had no distinctive Neanderthal features.

    No living peoples do.

    Upshot?

More likely both Neanderthals AND Asian moderns once shared a common ancestor, a PRE- Neanderthal like homind at best.

  • @PantheraAtrox Svante Paabo in great new book (Did these stories really happen?)at amazon!

  • @Bestmanme08 , interesting, will check it out.

  • @PantheraAtrox No more likely the Mungo Man represented an early human branch that left Africa and headed into Australia without having crossed with Neanderthals! They have found skulls in Israel that have both human features and big eyebrow riddges! And half of the Jews today are beefy peoplel with large noses like the Neanderthals! The Aborigines of Australia could have received their neanderthal blood about 15,000 years ago when they met up with Indonesians visiting Australia!
